The smaller the space, the more strategic you have to be when it comes to visual clutter. If everything can look nice and streamlined and have places and organization, that space, no matter how big or small, is automatically going to look bigger. And again, several months later, still using the bread box, and I love it. Thank you, bread box! Just yelling in my pantry right now. And you don't have to just use it for bread. You can really store anything in there. In fact, I think I have some laughing cow cheese in there. I have some nuts in there. I probably have some little peanut butter packets in there. You know, just little odds and ends that you often find in your pantry and your kitchen. And you're like, what do I do with this? Well, I stick it in my bread box. Switching gears a little bit when it comes to categories, this is under $5. It's these crop bands. Now, sweater weather is upon us. Sweatshirt weather is upon us. And oftentimes, you want to up-level your wardrobe and style it a little bit better. And you want to have, hmm, how shall I say, a more up-to-date look when it comes to your sweatshirts and your sweater. So this crop band is awesome. Now, you often can use a belt. But belts can be a little bit clunky. Oftentimes, you can't size them the way that you want in order to tuck in your sweatshirt or your sweater so you don't look like you're drowning in it. It just takes your outfit and elevates it that much more. And it's comfortable to wear. I don't even realize that I have on this crop band. A lot of hair things going on in this house between scrunchies, headbands, hair bands, hair clips. So I wanted a great way to organize all of the hair scrunchies and hair bands. So when I found this four-compartment rotating hair organizer thingy-ma-bobber, I thought, yes! And again, using this, we have been loving this. You can easily access the items that you need, pull them out, load it back up. I used to have all of our hair bands and scrunchies in, like, this big plastic Ziploc baggie. And sure, it served its function. But it definitely looked cheap. For under $20, I was able to organize all the hair accessories and make it look so much nicer. And when things look nicer, we, as people generally, are more likely to keep them that way. I love makeup brushes and chapsticks and lipsticks. So I like to have easy access to them, and I wanted a great way to organize them. So I tried out two different organizing systems. One is sort of a square shape, if you will, and the other one is like a flower, more circly, if you will. I love both of these. They both fit a variety of different sizes of lipsticks and chapsticks and lip glosses and brushes. And again, if you're wanting to save space, you want to utilize that vertical space wherever you have this. I currently have one of the lipstick organizers on my desk right now so I can easily access what I need, but it looks nice and organized. And the brush organizer, I currently have in my upstairs bathroom where I have brushes in it, but I also have organizers in there and face shavers and, well, is there anything else I have in there? Point of the story is you can store a lot of beauty-related items in both of these. Which one should you get? I don't know. I love both of mine. And the price point on these are excellent. My office was needing a little love, a little upgrade, a little organization, so I thought I'm going to put all of my favorite office items together for you, including a desk mat, which I have in several places in and around my house. I love my laptop stand that I've had for several years and still continue to use it every single day. The rolling mat underneath my chair so that I do not ruin the carpeting and it makes it easier to move my chair in and out. And I have been obsessed with my automatic garbage can. I have had this for like three years and I use it every single day. I'm going to include several other items within this, which includes my laptop cover, which also is great and makes cleaning, well, pretty much non-existent because it covers the keys. Nothing is dropping inside. Drawer organizer, a foot rest. These are all items that I've been using over and over again and repeat that has made my work so much easier and it makes my office look so much prettier. And let us not forget our coffee cup warmer. I never have a cold cup of coffee. I also wanted to up-level my outdoor area and keep it within a budget, so I found some beautiful outdoor mats. I love the detail on these outdoor mats. I love the size. I love the coloring. Scalloped! I was trying to think of the name. This scalloped mat is adorable. And then I love these pots and then the artificial flowers. Now, in the past, I would spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars every year on artificial flowers, real flowers, on real flowers, and they would die or I would kill them and I would be very sad because I just wasted all my money. So this year, I opted for the artificial flowers. The hanging baskets, again, artificial. They have held up so nicely. They're also going to transition really wonderfully into the fall. These are a number one bestseller. A beautiful wreath, some lavender bushes. These are all items that transition very nicely from spring, summer, into fall, and then possibly into winter. However, I live in Minnesota. Everything's going to be covered in snow at that point. So if you're looking to up-level your entryway area, I would consider several of these items. This one here is a beaut. Use it every single day. I had a smaller mirror in my area. Here, it's like a dining room slash work area slash, well, I don't know, multifunctional room. And the mirror was quite small and I thought if I got a bigger mirror, not only would that be better personally, but also it would make the space look so much bigger. And again, loving this mirror several months later. The quality on it is phenomenal. You can easily mount this if you wanted to. It has a kickstand on the back, which is what I have opted to use. So not only do mirrors make a room look better, but they can also make your room look more expensive. So if you've been in the market for a larger size mirror, I would highly recommend this one. I also love the really beautiful gold trim detail. How about bows, hair clips, hair things, a great way to organize, display them, and easily access them. So I'm loving this organizer. It's so versatile. You can put the bows wherever you want to, you can put the clips wherever you want to, the claw clips, everything is easily at your fingertips. For just about $10, you've taken all of your hair supplies and organized them neatly in one beautiful space. This would also make for a really great gift idea. You can mount it wherever you want to, on the back of the door, on a wall, in a closet, in a bathroom. If you've been here for a while, I love making banana chocolate chip muffins with my old bananas and I often share the recipe on Instagram because they're so good. My kids love them. I've been making them for years. But I thought, what if I could make mini loaves? I saw them on Instagram. They looked so cute. So I tried out these silicone mini loaf, I don't know, trays, if you will. I guess they call them loaf pans. Pans is probably a better way to describe them, but I love the handles on them. They're in silicone, amazing to bake with because you can easily get the contents out when you need to and nothing is sticking to the sides. They're easily washable. They're easy to store. I love everything about these. On Instagram stories at andreajinkoa, I often post recipes probably about once weekly, so make sure you're following over there. I saw this viral item on Instagram for your kitchen. I thought, do I really need another kitchen gadget? And well, yes, I do because this is awesome. You can use it to cut cucumbers and carrots and grapes and strawberries, really anything with the push of a button. So it's not only great for you and I, but it's great for our kids, teenagers, or younger ones as well. The shapes are all nice and uniform. I mean, you can just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, and chop things within seconds without having to get a knife, clean the knife. It just takes longer. I'm not upset about this. This is awesome. Worth every penny. Moving into these continuous spray bottles, I do like to make my own DIY air freshener with my favorite scents, and I love a good continuous spray bottle. I keep them in and around my house, in the bathroom, in an office, in a living room. Sometimes you just want to, I don't know, make your space feel fresher and cleaner. These are also great for plants, for hair, basically anything, and I love the color combinations or color options, if you will. So if you've been in the market for a good continuous spray bottle, these are it. I always get asked, Andrea, what do you store your fruits and veggies in in your refrigerator? And I'm sharing some of them with you here today. These airtight food storage containers I've been using for months and months. They are my go-to. In fact, I had some cantaloupe in my refrigerator and it was probably in there for like two weeks and it still stayed fresh. It was very strange. I attribute a big part of that to these airtight food storage containers. Wow, that is a mouthful. They're easily stackable, you can easily store and put them away, and they do what they're supposed to do. Keep your fruit and produce fresher for longer. I'm going to link some of my other favorites in the description box below as well because I often get asked this question. Good waffle maker. I love Ninja. Like all Ninja products, they never disappoint. I think I have a coffee maker. I don't think I know I have a coffee maker. I use it every single day. In fact, I was a Keurig user for many years. Still love a Keurig, but I tried the Ninja and now I'm like hooked on Ninja. Ice cream makers. What else do I have in Ninja? Anyway, back to the waffle maker. This is awesome. All you need to do is take the cup that it came with, pre-measured for you, and pour your, I don't know, waffle contents, your mixture, whatever you put in there, in there, and then the buzzer goes off and then you just fold it down and you have a perfect homemade waffle. And by homemade, I mean, well, I got the contents from the box and then I put it in the waffle maker. Now, you certainly can make your own batter, but I didn't. I like when it comes in a nice box, especially mornings are very hectic with four children. But if you've been in the market for a good waffle maker, this is awesome. I also like that it is storage friendly in how it stores. It stores vertically rather than horizontally, yes. Electric scooters are all the rage right now and they will be until, well, there's snow on the ground. But if you live in a place where there is no snow, then this scooter will be for you. We got this for my daughter who is 11 years old, but it is also for adults. I think it can hold up to like 220 pounds or something like that if I'm going off of memory. And it does go quite fast. We've used it several times since we've gotten it and we love it. So if you've been in the market for a good, reliable electric scooter, I highly recommend this one. It has a bell on it. It has a light on it. It has a kickstand on it. It has brakes on it. It has everything that you need. So if you want to get around a little bit faster, this is awesome. Now I'm recommending this and sharing this in this video because I had purchased some from Target. I love Target. But they both pooped out. So I thought, you know what? I'm going to pay a little bit more. I'm going to see what I can find on Amazon and this one has been holding up for several months now. And Christmas is just around the corner. Your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews would love this. Within this list, I'm also going to link some of my favorite garage organizers because you know your girl loves an organized garage with all the chaos with a lot of people in a home. Now this one may seem a little bit strange so I would include an organizing video but here's why I've included it in there. It makes your life easier and it makes, well, clean up easier, more organized, clean up. All you have to do is take these overnight oats, mix it with your favorite milk, I opted for cashew milk, fill it up to the designated line, give it a little shake, put it in your refrigerator and then the next morning you automatically have a filling nutritious breakfast, high protein, in your refrigerator ready to go. So if you're sick of protein shakes, they may not fill you up as well as you had hoped, I highly recommend these overnight oats. And then all you have to do is take the shaker bottle, put it in your dishwasher, get it ready for the next day. You didn't need to get out of the bowl for oatmeal, you didn't need to cook the oatmeal, you didn't need to clean the bowl, the plate, dump it, the contents, like you didn't have to deal with all that, you just pulled it out of your refrigerator and you were good to go. We are just over the halfway point moving into these acrylic belt organizers. A lot of times in your closet, make sure that you are organizing it, meaning going through the items and donating or, I don't know, donating the items that you're not wearing any longer, but it's the organizing items within that closet that can really elevate it. So this belt organizer has done just that, they are stackable, you can put small belts in here, you can put large belts in there, you can easily see the contents inside, you're not taking up valuable hanger space, which at least in my closet is precious real estate. I had shelf space, but not as much hanger space. Been using these belt organizers for several months, still love them. This corner bathroom or kitchen organizer. Corners are also another underutilized space within our home, so in my bathroom I had this really nice Lazy Susan rotating thingamabobber for all of my hair supplies and girly things, but I thought, I can utilize this corner space a little bit better rather than the rotation, and I love this. Can I just say, I love this. Been using this for I think over a month now at this point, and I still love it. It makes my cabinets in my bathroom look so much better, and then it makes me want to keep it that way. I can chop an onion in literally seconds by pushing down on the top. And the blades, my friend, those babies are sharp. It does come with several different options for you. And I also like, being an organization cleaning junkie, that you can store the contents back in the veggie chopper and put it away nicely for your next use. I was wondering how much this costs. It's currently on sale. It's under $30. I would pay $50 for this because, one, it makes it better, easier for me to eat healthy. I'm like, oh, I got to chop up this, that, and the other things. It takes so much time. It's like, no, no, no. You just put it on here and then chop it. You're good to go and throw it in your dishwasher. Great gift idea for yourself, friend, or a loved one. I love a good ice cube tray maker. By the way, like ice cube makers are such a hot thing right now, and I'm like, why? I can get ice out of my refrigerator. But the right ice can really make or break your drink. And when you're drinking an iced coffee, let's say, and you put ice in it, well, what happens? Your coffee gets watered down. So let's make ourselves some round coffee ice cubes. These stack so easily right on top of each other, and it elevates your drink. It makes a beautiful experience. It's functional. I love this. I suppose it's more of a felt, but it reminds me of velvet, to separate your earrings or your rings or smaller bracelets. You can easily get what you need. But if it's in these nice little organized compartments, they're more likely to wear, well, more of their items. You can put so many things in there. You can put socks, bras, underwear, swimsuits. You can put shoes in here, which is often what I see people doing. I've seen people put cleaning supplies in here. It's these little things that you do within a space that can make it look so much better. Save you time and, well, when things look pretty, you just want to keep them that way. Speaking of brushes, how do we clean all of these brushes? I wanted to try out this electric brush cleaner and I love it. I was super impressed with the velocity, if you will, the torque of the cleaning of these brushes. You can fully control how long they clean. It spins. It cleans it. You didn't have to do anything. You just put them in there with your favorite solution. I like to use just a little, maybe like just, just not even a teaspoon of Dawn dish soap and then I rinse them under some water and then I put them in the drying section and then your brushes are nice and prepped to dry the proper way so that the longevity of your brushes is maintained. It's fun to use. It saves you time and, well, it keeps your skin looking cleaner and fresher. If you're not cleaning your brushes on a regular basis, you're just kind of like caking your face on with more product and oils, if you know what I mean.
