How DIAMOND is produced - Industrial Process
4 Video Views·Aug 21, 2025
Diamonds are produced under extreme conditions of high temperature and high pressure in the Earth's mantle, approximately 150 to 200 km deep. Under these conditions, carbon atoms are compressed and organized into an extremely rigid and stable crystalline structure. Through deep volcanic eruptions, magma rises rapidly to the surface, bringing with it these diamonds, which are found in rocks called kimberlites.
