Hi, I'm Brad, and I'm John. Well, Gabriel has done a song, so we're going to do the song that Gabriel has done. It's for number four, four in a week, four straight weeks. Is it? I honestly don't know. I'm pretty sure it was four. It's been a couple. Anyway. We went without doing any for quite a while, and here we are. Yeah. Back on. So this one is called Beautiful Things. Okay. It's from American singer-songwriter Brent Benson Moon. I've not heard of the song at all myself. I know of Pat Moon. Unbelievable. Okay. This song came out January 19th of 2024. So you might actually have heard it, because you pay a lot more attention to social media than I do. You actually scroll through it. I tend to read books these days. Yeah, if it's a song on social media, you know, if it's something that, like, everyone does their whatever things to. As I say, this was the lead single of his debut studio album, Fireworks and Rollerblazers. And it peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100. It also topped the charts in 19 other countries, including Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand. You know, the kingdom. This actually goes on. So, yeah, the chances of you actually having heard the song on social media have kind of gone up. Yeah. Because, you know, if it was number two here in America on the Hot 100, it charted in that many other countries, charted well in that many other countries. The odds are that, yes, you probably have heard it on social media. Me, on the other hand, who pays zero attention to social media for the most part, hasn't. Well, that's not true. Yeah, so the person always bragging me things to watch. Yes. Look at this. Look at that. Look at this cat video. Social media. Well, yes. Look at what this guy's doing with this tractor. Yeah, but they're mostly cat videos. So cat videos are different. Mine are usually new stuff. Yeah, you're watching new stuff and people doing silly things. Depends on what it tells me. Well, that's true. What it gives me. That's true. Depends on what TikTok's giving you today. Yeah, TikTok or Instagram's like, what are you giving me today? Anyway. All right. And honestly, I've said it before actually, I'm surprised that he usually doesn't have a stationary microphone in front of him, because he loves to gesture with the microphone as well. Mm-hmm. It's like, I'm surprised he doesn't use a stationary mic to give both of his hands the freedom to gesture. As he sings. I usually talk with my hands. Yeah. A lot of people talk with their hands, but, you know. I would think it'd be the same if I was singing, I'd probably do it. But I don't sing with my hands. But, you know, a lot of singers, if you sit and watch, basically, well, a lot of them do nothing with their hands. It's kind of like, just let their arms hang for the most part. The other favourite that people do is they'll have the mic on the stand and go, I'm going to do a two-hour concert plugging a microphone under this. Yeah. You know. And then the other people, you just have to move the gesture. Because that's the way the music starts, though. As the men's thing to lose you. Oh, I hope I don't lose you. This part I know. I can feel it say it's been a while, but I can find my way. Everything good and I swear. Why do I sit and wait till it's gone? So you recognize that part of it. And honestly, and I mean, I couldn't tell you if I heard the original or not. But what he just did there with it sounded a lot better than what I normally hear. But like I said, what I normally hear may not actually be the original. I think a lot of people cover it. Well, I'm sure a lot of people probably do. And especially on the social media thing, especially like TikTok and stuff. You know, you have those songs that you can just pick and use this. They're not necessarily the original artists. Yeah. Because yeah, some of those ones are not. Yeah, you pick the music to put to your video. It's like, yeah, they have like. It's like they have the original and then a bunch of other people. Or to put it simply, they don't have the original. But you can pick one of these from other random people. Like I said, I couldn't tell you otherwise. Everything good and I swear. Why do I sit and wait till it's gone? Oh, I'm sorry. I know I've got enough. I've got peace and nothing left. But I'm up at night thinking I just might lose it all. Please don't stay. Yeah, he just knows how to get that high note up and just make it. Yeah. Effortless. Yeah. I mean, that was a high note as opposed to him jumping up into his whistle register as well. Yeah. Yeah, and he's very good at covering these songs and making them fit his own style. You know, how he likes to sing things. Which like I said, in this case is obviously better than the original. Well, I shouldn't say the original because I don't know if what I hear is original. Oh, I'm sure it is. So it's the original. So he's better than the original. There you go. And there again, I think it's, you know. Because usually it's not, I don't hear, it's not a person singing that I hear. I hear a lot of people use the sounds in their videos. Yeah. Well, I don't know. It's Gabriel. He knows how to do it. If he did it, then we're obviously going to continue getting him up.
