New North Korea Pyongyang Metro Station - FIRST LOOK (May 2019)

"Triumph" station on the Pyongyang Metro was the first station on the Pyongyang Metro to be refurbished. It opened on the 1st of May 2019, and I went to visit on this day!

I'm pretty confident in saying I was amongst the first foreigners to visit.

It's said that this station will serve as a model for further stations to be renovated.

New things inside the Pyongyang Metro:
- cute baby pink colour scheme
- TV screens showing adverts, news, and cartoons
- Digital screen showing time, weather, and temperature
