Rome 2025 - 09 - Vatican Museums (Part 2 of 2)

Continuing from Part 1, through the endless corridors of the Vatican Museums to the Raphael Rooms. Honestly, who needs the Sistine Chapel when you have the Raphael Rooms? You could spend half a day in those four rooms alone.

This museum really needs at least two full days to begin to appreciate the enormous amount of fabulous objects and artworks. You can run through to the Sistine Chapel and stand in a throng of sweaty people looking upwards, but I guarantee you'll miss wonderful things on the way.
