Route 66 CALIFORNIA in an RV Best Roadside Attractions 🇺🇲

We're doing the full Route 66 from LA to Chicago. We're doing the iconic Route 66 Roadtrip in our RV and will attempt to complete the full Route 66 also known as the motherroad, or America's Main Street. We set off from LA and will take around 6 weeks to travel Route 66 arriving in Chicago 6 weeks later, we will stop at the many roadside attractions on Route 66. The 2500 mile Route 66 roadtrip will be our most historic, quirky and famous one yet in our motorhome. We will visit the quirky, comical roadside attractions along Route 66 and do some side excursions too. We are mid life travellers who are driving in our British motorhome across America. You can expect to see the unusual sights and our funny interactions. In this episode we start at the Skyline Drive-in Movie Theater in Barstow before heading to an abandoned water park. We also visit Liberty Sculpture Park, Peggy Sue's 50s Diner, Amboy Crater, Roy's Motel, Goffs and Needles. We visit plenty of Route 66 attractions along the way and attempt to follow the motherroad all the way to Chicago.
