Anya in Moscow.
Welcome!
My name is Anya.
I live in Moscow.
I'm a student.
I study at the university at the Faculty of Journalism.
I'm 20 years old.
I don't live with my parents.
I'm renting an apartment.
My apartment is not far from the subway.
It's very convenient.
I get to the university quickly.
There are three rooms in the apartment.
My room,
the master's room and the living room.
There is also a bathroom,
a kitchen and a small balcony.
My room is small,
but bright and very convenient.
There is everything I need here.
There is a bed by the window.
There is a portrait above the bed.
To the right of the bed
there is my desk and a chair.
Not far from the table there is a bookshelf.
In the bookshelf there are my favorite books and souvenirs.
I don't live alone,
but with my hostess.
Her name is Galina Ivanovna.
She is 72 years old.
She is retired.
She doesn't work,
but she is very active.
She likes to drink tea,
cook and watch TV shows.
Every morning she makes me breakfast.
Cheesecakes, cottage cheese or porridge.
And she also gives me tea with jam.
Galina Ivanovna's room is cozy and clean.
There is a beautiful chest of drawers next to the door.
There are newspapers, glasses and a clock on the chest of drawers.
There is a bed between the window and the table.
There is often a cup of tea and a book on the table.
To the right of the bed there is a chair and a torsion roller.
In this chair she likes to sit and watch TV shows.
To the left of the bed there is a mirror and a wardrobe with clothes.
There are photos of her family and beautiful paintings on the wall.
Torsion roller, chair, window, newspapers, glasses, clock, mirror, bed.
In the evening, when I come home, she says,
«Anichka, dinner is ready!»
On the table there is borsch, buckwheat with gravy,
beetroot salad and compote.
Sometimes she cooks fish in the oven or home-made potatoes.
And on the weekends – pancakes with meat or sweet pies.
I say, «Galina Ivanovna, it is very tasty, but I can't eat so much!»
She smiles and says, «Eat, Anichka, eat! You are still growing!»
Then I laugh and eat.
