Heather Hammond: 'Alone, For a While' (Hommage to Eric Satie) for piano

This is the second piece from 'Ballds Without Words' (EVC, 2015) and as the subtitle suggests, a hommage to Eric Satie's most famous music, the 'Gymnopédies'. This is shorter and easier than Satie's originals, except perhaps for a right hand flourish midway through. Interesting to compare with June Armstrong's 'Castel Ward', which is a rather jazzier attempt at the same idea.
