Shelling and finding treasures when there are NO SHELLS! How we found great shells on an empty beach

Lately people have been telling me they are having a hard time finding shells and I have to agree. The shells on the beaches in Southwest Florida are not easy to find lately. We searched for shells for a few hours, and managed to finally find some good keepers. We were determined and we ended up with quite a few pieces of beachy goodness!
