Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Review | Wear OS 6 is here!
Reviewing the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, one of the best looking smartwatches of 2025. This slim and stylish wearable boasts WearOS 6 and new fitness tracking features, but is the battery life of the Samsung Watch 8 any better? And how does it compare vs the Classic model?
Well, despite a modest capacity increase and a swap to the 3nm Exynos 1000 chipset, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 will still need its battery charging every day. I only manage to scrape approximately 36 hours of play time from a full charge. So if you're using it for sleep tracking, that means it's on the dock while you're awake most days.
If you want one of the best smartwatches for battery life, check out the OnePlus Watch 2 instead. The Samsung Watch 8 manages half the longevity, at most.
Besides that and some early software jank, this wearable is a solid fitness tracker and wrist companion. You've got some new tools to keep tabs on your health, while this Galaxy smartwatch can also monitor your sleep and energy levels.
