Hi LBB, this is Veena. Welcome to my home.
The festive season is here.
And as everyone else in India is getting ready to celebrate these festivals,
I too am doing the same.
I'm looking forward to having my friends and families
and having a nice get-together in my home.
But before I do that, I plan to do a little makeover to my living room.
Looking forward to adding some pop of colour,
some vibrancy and festival vibes to my room.
Come, let's see how we do it.
So except for the furniture, which I plan to keep,
I'm going to take the rest of it off.
So all the paintings, including the mirror,
are going to go out for the moment.
So for a couple of things, I need some help,
for which I'm going to call my husband.
The painting being one, it's too heavy.
And the lamp being another.
I'm so looking forward to an entirely different look to my living room.
So for this wall, I've got these Krishna-themed wall plates
in a set of three.
So for this cabinet, I've got this runner,
which I'm going to place here.
So here on this cabinet, I'm going to place this lamp
as an accent light for this decor.
So for this cabinet, I have a pair of cows.
So for this corner, I've got this beautiful Ganesha bell.
And to complete this corner,
I've got my favourite flowers here
in this beautiful wooden vase.
And for this corner, I've got this beautiful wooden angel,
which is absolutely my favourite.
And this completes this corner.
So I've added a big lamp here.
Isn't it so beautiful?
And this ickert work runner on this table
to highlight the decor.
And for my foyer area,
I've got this beautiful wooden wall hanging
with brasswork here, with a beautiful Ganesha
with such a little bell here.
And I'm going to put a tea light
to highlight this stunning piece.
And this is another beautiful
wooden hand-painted piece of art.
And I'm really going to,
certainly going to add a little tea light here
to highlight the painting.
This piece I already had.
And I think this completes the look here.
So this is a beautiful wooden box
with a cow painted on it.
And it brings so much beautiful vibes here
to this corner with the bright red.
I think it looks really stunning.
On this wall, I had a very large painting,
which I took off.
And now I have hung this mirror
and two wall panels.
I think this Jharokha mirror really looks so pretty.
I took my husband's help
in hanging them up on this wall.
And I think it really finishes off this wall
and completes it so well.
So for this corner,
I've got this beautiful Garud.
And on the other table,
I'm going to place a Gauri face on the other side.
And this beautiful velvet cushions
brighten up the space.
So on this sofa,
I've added this hand-embroidered Phulkari throw.
So in this beautiful teal-colored wooden bowl,
I've added some fresh flowers and tea lights
for the festive vibes.
So for the flooring,
I have changed my cotton rug,
which I had for the summers
and replaced it with this beautiful
orange-red-gray distressed finish rug,
which I think very beautifully
ties up the whole decor here.
And now for my favorite part,
doing up the decor for the center table.
I have this tray already.
I've added some manchis here.
And for this corner,
I've got this set of wooden dolls
in red and yellow.
I think they really brighten up the center table.
And this piece,
I already had a brass diffuser.
It goes here.
And this beautiful brass orli
is here for this corner.
And in this,
I have floated some fresh marigold flowers.
Here I've set up this tray
with some fresh marigold flowers
and my favorite mithai
and Ganesh and Lakshmi diyas in brass.
So now that my table is ready
with all the refreshments and sweets and snacks,
I can hardly wait to receive my guests.
I got all of these stunning products
from Revive Home.
And as you can see,
they have transformed my living room
so beautifully.

I hope you enjoyed my living room makeover
as much as I did doing it up.
