Did you enjoy coming back to Thailand?
Oh yeah. I was super excited that they told me that I was going to come back for a while
because I love Thailand. It's such a beautiful country and it's just amazing that they let me come back.
Let's talk about Dolores, your friend. We got to meet her last night.
Yeah.
Just tell me what it was like working with her and that kind of thing.
She is so cute and she is this adorable animatronic that you just want to love.
And on set it was amazing because it is my first film so having her there was super helpful for me
because I didn't really have to imagine because she was right there in my arms or in my backpack.
And I felt like it made it a lot more easier for me.
And then seeing how much people love her makes it even better because she deserves all the love
because she's just so cute.
And there were a couple different versions of her, right?
There was. So what I got told is they were showing me different paint jobs of how she was going to look
and they were like, Steven Spielberg said he wanted more stripes on her.
And so it was just super cool how they made it and how it came out
because I searched up how an Alcalops looks before meeting Dolores
and when I say it's a copy and paste image of it, it's just super cool.
It was really cool to watch.
Yeah.
And then, of course, you know the Raph scene that you were in.
It's been around for a long time, I guess.
Oh, yeah.
And they finally were able to execute it.
Tell me what that was like for you.
I think, first of all, it was such an honor that they let us do it.
And this was so fun to film and reading the script was super cool too
because you were on the edge of your seat just reading it for the first time
and then working it out with the cast because they were actually paddling the raft
whenever we were doing it.
We were in Thailand filming the paddling scene
and then whenever the boat flips over and I'm under it, that's in Malta,
and they had a cardboard cutout of a T-Rex to make it feel like it was chomping down on the boat
and they made waves, so it really felt all so real
and it was just amazing how it came out on the screens.
I want to talk about some of your co-stars
because I understand that you bonded with both Scarlett and her daughter Rose.
Tell me about that.
I bonded with Rose because I, first of all, was the only kid in this movie
so having Scarlett's daughter on set, Rose, is just super nice.
We would always play on the pool. We would play swimming games.
I'd usually lose but, you know, it was always super fun.
And then Scarlett, she was at the pool with Rose
and I just loved seeing her in the mom figure and then seeing her in her work mode
and I really do look up to her. It was amazing.
Did she give you any career advice? Because, like you said, this is your first movie.
Yeah, she really did tell me, like, speak up for yourself.
Like, if you feel uncomfortable, just say it.
And also, she also started out when she was young, so it really made me look up to her
and also, she's just so humble and so kind too.
That's great. Have you talked to Rose since?
I haven't, but we were going to meet up in New York, so hopefully we can.
That sounds like a fun place.
Oh, yeah.
So, Jonathan, also, I want to talk about him.
So, you know, he's rumored to be the next James Bond.
I don't know if he'll do that, but what do you think about that?
Would he be a good Bond?
Jonathan, he's such a funny person, so humble, so down to earth.
Like, he is just an amazing human being, and, like, it's 11 p.m. at night on a night shoot,
and he's just lighting up the whole room.
It's amazing to see, and I just really think it was super cool working on him.
Do you think he would be good at that part?
I think he would. I think he would.
He could probably do anything he set his mind to, huh?
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
And then my final question is, what's your memory of watching the original Jurassic Park as a kid?
I think I was six or seven when I watched it for the first time,
and it was actually in theaters because my movie theater was doing, like, a throwback
and showing all the three Jurassic Parks, and I do remember definitely being terrified of it
because being six years old, but now looking back at it, it's, like, a core memory of mine.
And, like, the raptors and, like, the kitchen scene, I really do love it.
And then I feel like Jurassic World Rebirth does, like, a really good job at, like,
paying homage to the first one, which I really liked about it.
It's so good. It's great, and you were great.
Thank you.
So thank you so much for taking some time.
Thank you so much.
Good luck with everything the future holds.
Thank you.
