The seven carat is finally done.
Oh, I'm so excited.
I have to calm down.
Hold on.
Welcome back to my channel where I talk about all things diamonds and craftsmanship.
This one.
I'm just ultra ultra ultra excited because why is the little sister version of my ring?
Yes.
I love it.
Honestly.
Thank you so much to my client.
She messaged me.
She said Bonnie.
I saw your ring.
I am so in love with it.
I need one.
Let me be not as large as yours.
I was like, yes, I totally get it.
You know, this is what diamonds is about.
Look down.
Does it make you smile?
Does it make you happy?
If the answer is yes, then you shall enjoy it.
Let's jump right in talking about this gorgeous ring.
I want to walk you through the story of how we decided to do all of the proportions like craftsmanship proportions.
Everything is so important.
She said, okay, Bonnie, you know what?
I love how big and gorgeous yours are, but it's not really going to be suitable for my lifestyle, which is totally understandable.
So she said, I want to go a little bit smaller than yours.
So I said, okay, what is the right size?
Should we go 5 carat?
I was like, you already have a 3 carat.
So the story is that she already started with a gorgeous 3 carat.
I was like, okay, I think you need a little bit bigger and we kind of just tried on different carat sizes.
So we were like, okay, 7 is the right choice.
Okay, so let's get a little close-up.
So when she saw my ring, she's like, okay, I love your ring.
I just need the proportions to be a little bit different to suit my lifestyle.
So I said, perfect.
What changes are we going to make?
So first things first, I told her I'm very active, right?
So I was like, if you're going to get this large of a center stone ring, you need something sturdy to go with it.
So I said, mine is double gallery on mine.
Of course, I'm extra.
I did eternity.
But I said, if you want the resizing option, you should go with 3 quarters.
So we definitely did that on the ring.
So part of the special thing about my ring is that it is the opposite of low-profile.
It is not a low-profile ring.
I told her straight up in the video on the original zoom.
I said, this ring is going to pop and it's going to pop, pop, pop.
And then she's like, I love when it pops.
So after narrowing the carat size and like the setting style, I was like, okay, let's talk about the proportion of the band, right?
Because mine is a larger center stone with 3.8 millimeter band.
Because I was like, okay, I had a solitaire before.
I'm ready for that bigger look.
I'm ready for more diamonds.
So she's like, yeah, I had a solitaire on my 3 carat and I'm ready for something different.
And she's like, I've loved my ring for so many years.
But you know, I really enjoy your craftsmanship way more.
So she's like, I'm ready to go big.
I was like, this is it.
So we decided to scale down the millimeter on the shank a little bit compared to mine.
So this is coming in at 3.2 millimeter.
I think believe with 3 millimeter and then maybe 3.2 millimeter and then 3.5 millimeter.
And then after that, both her and her husband landed on 3.2 millimeter and it came out absolutely gorgeous.
So warning to minimalists that are watching this video.
This is not a minimalist friendly video.
This one is the opposite.
This one is for everyone out there that want to love the jewelry that you're wearing.
Just do not care about what people have to say.
You love it.
You wear it and that's all that matters.
So this is the final product.
I am so happy with it.
So is she.
She thinks it's absolutely gorgeous.
So thank you to my client who's been so patient with me while I curate the perfect diamond.
It's an E color VS2 in Clarity.
I told her as long as the diamond is brilliant and match with the craftsmanship that we have,
you are going to get that ultimate sparkle.
I've been preaching this on my channel over and over and over again.
Guys, it is not just about the center stone.
It is 100% about craftsmanship, about the setting, about the designer who knows the proportion of how it will come out when you are visualizing your client who is wearing it.
What is going to be the right proportion for their everyday life.
She told me I'm active.
I love my jewelry.
I'm going to wear it.
I'm not going to just take it and then put it away.
So congratulations, sweetie.
Thank you so much for trusting me with this gorgeous, gorgeous project.
Happy many more years between you and your husband.
I love, love, love the ring.
If you love the remake of my ring, I am absolutely in love with it.
I'm going to be putting it on the website for you to check out.
Leave your congratulations for the couple below in the comments.
Thank you so much.
I'll see you guys in my next episode.
Bye.
