books In other areas because sometimes if they're not by category, which believe it or not, these shelves are by category It's like my own little library But this New England shelf, I reference these all the time And I'm just looking at something, I don't think I ever showed this For a Christmas gift, Ben got me this little book press for pages And it says from the library of I believe it says Linda Davis, I'm gonna have to use it But I never showed that and he got that for some of my New England books So I'm gonna go through a lot of these shelves And donate, reorganize, I have a lot of books here From Ben's The side of the family that I will go through And a lot of my holiday books, I will probably put in the guest room So yeah, that's what I'm gonna be doing today It's a gloomy day here And I just want to start getting the home ready For the cozy Fall season and the cozy Winter season that's coming Faster than we know I have quite a few books here on the shelf from kindred spirits that have been sent to me over the years And those are also going to be kept and cherished because You know me And you did an amazing job at helping me fill my shelves There's some books here that I keep forgetting to even pull out I have this book Wild Fruits by Thoreau And There's a seashell marking a page I don't remember if I did that or somebody else did But Yeah, this is a keeper I have a feeling I have more keepers than Back to donation Alright I have to take my time I'm gonna stop filming because that would be a lot of wasted time on the camera I got a long way to go Well, it's Saturday night I still have more I want to do here in the library, but I wanted to show you what I've done so far And we just got back from the Oktoberfest and Ben and my stepdaughter outside by the fire pit And I want to join them really trying to balance YouTube channel Store Private life So that's why I'm here right now I want to film a little bit Show you what I've done And then I'm gonna scoot outside to be with family So I hope you understand that this video is a little bit shorter than usual But let me give you a quick tour here So what I did is My shelves are still done by category like I have entertaining Gardening We have herbs And then I have just a mix of decorating books Then I have all colonial and New England books And down here are some other New England mixes And then I fixed up The New England shelf a bit Now over here I have Ghost stories So I'm gonna still do some accessorizing here I'll probably do something fun and ghostly here But I do have the witches of Eastwick And then some other ghost books for New England But the things I need to put away for a while because I do have my daughter's cat coming to visit with us for Probably two weeks And This stuff She would play with But these are some of the things that we found out in the dump From Monaco All kinds of things Even down to a little jackknife Holder Bimbo We have a lot of buttons here Oh and this Is a jade Rod That was used in the bathroom or kitchen And then Shannon found another larger one and she actually found Pictures online That they were used for towel holders And I have a lot of fun things here including the little Derringer that she found So a lot of this has to be put away so that the cat doesn't play with them But like I said that's it for now that That I did I'll play and add a few more accessories here And on this side I really didn't do much more other than kind of organize a few things But I think it looks Quite a bit better than it did before
