Franz Schubert's Piano Sonata in B major, D 575, is a solo piano sonata that was published posthumously as Op. 147. While Schubert's music was appreciated by a relatively small circle of admirers in Vienna during his lifetime, interest in his work increased greatly in the decades following his death.
Its publishers dedicated the piano sonata to Sigismond Thalberg. Schubert composed the sonata in August 1817.
Thalberg (8 January 1812 – 27 April 1871) was an Austrian composer and one of the most distinguished virtuoso pianists of the 19th century.
The video was captured on the Fildrich River, which flows through the Diemtigtal valley and joins the Chirel in the lower valley. The Chirel then flows into the Simme near Oey, in the municipality of Diemtigen.
This video was captured by Christian Schlegel in Switzerland and edited by Wenjing Ma.
