We are going to thank all of the people who have assisted in keeping the cities running and who have taken care of patients in this coronavirus pandemic.
We want to thank all of the first responders who had to get the patients to the hospital in the first place.
These are the firemen, the policeman, and families of those afflicted with the coronavirus.
Of course, we want to pay a tribute to the doctors and nurses. They have put their lives on the line to save others.
They risk their lives in order to save others.
Also, thanks to respiratory therapists, technicians; and all other hospital personnel who put the lives of their patients before their own.
This virus affected the lungs, the heart, and other vital organs of many patients.
Many of them had to breathe with the help of ventilators. The medical staff in the hospitals spent hours of time caring for their patients and even put them before themselves and their families at times.
Thanks to COVID-19 researchers, scientists, and vaccine teams. They are working to help find a cure and a vaccine to stop this virus.
We cannot forget the persons who worked in the hospital like janitors who keep the hospital clean and safe.
Also, the food providers who fed the patients and the staff.
Let us not forget the delivery guys who helped keep us fed.
Thanks to UPS and the mail service for getting our goods to us.
Thank you to the trash men who kept the overflowing trash cans cleaned out for us.
Plus, a tribute to the grocery workers and pharmacy staff. And the restaurants that delivered food to us or let us go in and carry it out in order to keep us fed
Do not forget the gas stations that remained open so that we could get gas for our cars and go out to pick up our groceries.
With the rest of us staying at homes, these folks are taking the risk daily to keep our fridges and pantries stocked, ensure that those who need medications have them — and that travel remains possible, the lights stay on, etc.
Not all heroes wear capes — some ride bikes delivering groceries to us.
If we did not mention your occupation – please note that we thank each and every one of you who showed up to work even with all the risks and fears, you had. None of us would have been able to keep going on without you!
Let us bow our heads for a few seconds to remember all of the people who have passed during this pandemic around the world and blessings to their loved ones.
