3 Ball Bowling Challenge!!

Today we have three brand new Motive balls versus three brand new Brunswick balls. In our head-to-head match today, there's a little bit of a twist. You have to switch balls every time we strike. Today's challenger and Motive staffer is national champion Brandon Caruso, who is currently on the Wichita State National Championship team. Pressure off a win. He says he wants to start. Absolutely I want to start. Oh hey now. Not fair. I thought he was going to start off by sending a gigantic messenger. I'm going to try and strategize a little bit. To save the lane, I'm going to actually start with my weakest ball and then go to my stronger balls after. I guess it doesn't matter. We got to switch balls every shot. Nice shot. Thank you. Oh my God. So in this video, we are going to do a race to 15 strikes. And every time we strike, we have to switch balls. So if I miss with my brand new hammer anger, I have to keep throwing that ball until I strike. So essentially it's going to be five strikes with every ball. That's better. Bang, bang. All right. On the board. I'm going to make a three and one and a half with the eye. Oh my God. Stand up. I need to shoot that one with two balls. The three and one and a half would have been good if I didn't end at five left out of the air. So the three balls that I've chosen for this video are the hammer anger, the ebonite real time and the strongest one of the bunch, my hammer effect torch. So I'm a motive staff member and the three balls I chose, the new primal rage evolution, also pretty new raptor rush. And my strongest primal shock. All right. Raptor rush time. Definitely a little bit stronger, lower RG, bigger engine, stand in the same spot. I'm just going to stand on the same spot. Absolutely. Hook. Yes sir. Very nice. Thank you. That ball sees it a little bit sooner than the other one for sure. I'm going to try and hit my target on this shot. I don't think I threw enough warmup shots. If I throw two balls with this, it would be way harder than just throwing one. That's probably true. So obviously I'm going to throw two at it. That was pretty good. Matt is a witness of the, every time I shoot one of those, it's like, I get most of the pins. Two to one. Chance for Brandon to cash out here. He's going to get $10 for every strike he beats me by. So if it's 15 to five, he's getting himself a hundred bucks. Definitely the strongest by a good margin. I'm actually going to move one right because I don't think it's going to come off the friction nearly as hard. Nice shot. Oh, it's a split. That means you can shoot this to, uh, have it count as a strike. Ooh, I like that. Obviously you don't have to throw two balls at this. I'm going to move like 10 to the left, rotate it at the gutter. Okay. Died. Tough break. I feel like he threw me a bone there. Now I have to capitalize. After listening to his moves, I'm not going to move to the right. My last shot was actually pretty good. I got to move further left. I'm going to stand in the same spot I did with my anger and see what happens. Yo. There is a little bit of a cliff out there. I tried not to throw it as far left, knowing the ball would be stronger. If it doesn't hit the friction, it's never hooked. Massive cliff. Probably the people's choice if I had to have them choose a ball right now for me to throw. Ah! No, that was a good shot. That was a good shot. That was my first shot with the ball. I moved six right. I think I probably could have moved five. I'm going to go back one, and it'll strike. Back to the top. We're going to move back to where we were. All right. Yeah, that wasn't great. I'm so scared because I have to throw it at the gutter, or else it's not going to hook. Very nice. And we got a ball change. Again. I'm locked now. They can't stop me now. We got a ball game on our hands. Yeah, he's feeling it now. I wasn't sure. Oh, I thought you knew. Me too. Puddle's just so thick. A little thick off the hand. Now we have to remember where we stood on all of them, and as I said, deal trap, I was standing on 21. Ooh. That one, just send it to the left, comes back every time. That was nice. So the thing about the Anger is it's not quite as sharp, maybe a little more hook than a vibe, more hook down lane for sure, but it's not as sharp as a lot of those other types of balls. Oh. Yeah, I got to move left. You got to move left. We're just behind it, yeah. Especially when I saw the last one hook in the puddle. Yeah. That's the key. If you can get the ball to hook in the oil. 4-4. I'm going to move left with this one. All right. Got to move another one right with the real time. I'm tracking it now on my phone because there's too much going on. Might have to put some in a row now. Yeah. Pressure has been applied. Okay now. Okay. 5-5. All right. Quick 2-1. Super simple. Just want to keep throwing the same ball. 5-5. Oh, he took notes. I took notes. I had to take notes. In the notes, it says I'm standing on 21 with my Anger with a normal speed. The real time, I'm standing on 20, but I have to throw it fast. And the Effector, I'm standing on 23 with a normal speed. I'm going to update that. We're going to have to go back one to the right with the Effector. We're now standing on 24 with the Effector of normal speed. This guy. When there's 8,000 things going on up here, you've got to write it down. All of them got a very high hit. So I think I'm going to need to move. I wrote down the move with the real time and the Effector, but I don't think I need to move with the Anger yet. Woo! All right. 6-6. That was a good move. Blind move. I love that. What'd you move? Like one, and I threw it firmer. The ball being less slimy was actually the primary factor of needing to move. Not the lane. Do you want it to down a little more? Oh, I didn't throw it as far left. Let's go! Okay! I thought I caught a break there. I thought that shot was so good. It wasn't as far left as the other one, but it was in the right spot, and then it hooked. I got to move. I got to move again. Now on 22 with the Anger. Look out. What's the move with this ball? Same shot? I'm going to move one, which is going to put me one right of the gold ball. I feel pretty good right now. Last few have been pretty good. I know where I'm standing. I know where I'm trying to get it to. Ball speed. I don't need notes. I got my notes. As rough as it started, it's going equally well for both of us now. We just play to our competition, that's all. They say the PBA game is you miss a bunch of times in the beginning trying to figure out the lane, and then you strike out. Essentially, this is the same thing just with bowling balls. You've got to figure out the adjustments, and then you start striking. Fair. Looks like Caruso's ready for the tour. Sign me up. Okay, now? We're playing chase now. It is. It's 8-8. All right. Woo! Body tightened up a little bit. We're going to go back to 24 by the next time we get that ball. I got to move, because I got to move. It is a strike best. Strike best. Oh, no. Yeah, that one's on me. That was horrendous. That was absolutely, insert swear word, horrible. Now I can get ahead in this cycle again, so I don't have to keep showing up. Instead of chasing. Exactly. Oh, that needs to hook. No game. I didn't know if it was going to hook. It did. They are less cliffed now than they were by a lot. I was getting used to switching balls, now I've got to throw the anchor twice in a row. Oh, boy. Yeah, that was pretty good. You can just throw a better shot. Golly! Back up. He is striking. That was a lot of rotation. A lot of reverie. And it didn't overhook. I think he's lined up. 11-11. And I get nervous every time I have to. I feel like I need to strike. I got to move with that real time next time. That was a really good shot. This one makes me nervous, man. Well, because this one I'm further right and faster, so I feel like if I throw it a little bit slow, it's going to hook really early and hook a lot. It's definitely time for the shiny ball. I can feel it with my effector, which is probably the ball I would use the most, but it's also the ball right now that I would not be using. I would be using either the real time or the anchor for sure. Be good. Wow! Oh, hey now. Now I got to move with that ball. That was pretty good. I like that one a lot. A lot more than the last couple, actually. I don't know. Ah! I guess I... I mean, the last one I feel like I got lucky, but that one was absolutely ridiculous. Cha-ching! That was 13 to 11. That might be a 10 bagger. That's a lot in a row. Hey now. Seven pin on that one. Or was it the seven and a half pin? I don't know. 13 to 12. You literally have a chance to shoot 300. You're at 10 in a row with two shots left. I hope you do it. Even though it means that I will lose, I hope you do it. All right. Let's see a good shot with this gold ball here. Oh, that needs to hook so much. Okay. All right. They might be nice right now. Literally need it. All right. Are you saying there's a chance? That's a good one. Slim, but a chance. I need a miss. Come on, ball. Me and you. For 300, the back 12 switching balls every time. Have you done this before? Oh, and you're with the ball that you did probably not be throwing. Probably not. No, probably haven't done it before. I think I've thrown a two ball 300. Left lane, right lane? I think. Three ball? Same lane? I don't think so. That was sick. Well, you know, we might have to review. I'm not sure. That might be 11. I'm pretty sure we were both stuck at three. I'm pretty sure. We were stuck at three, and I think once I started the next cycle, I didn't miss. It's 11 or 12. Currently, I owe 20 bucks, but since Brandon started the cycle, I actually do get an extra shot.
