00:40 Let’s Head For Japan And Check Out Cherry Blossoms.

The Cherry blossom flower is a symbol of spring, it’s a time to revitalize oneself. It is called “Sakura.”– tiny pink flowers that are most cherished, with the blossoms found in all aspects of Japanese culture. They bloom from mid-April to May like in the US.

1:33 Next, Let’s Head For Holland And Check Out The Tulips!

The flowers bloom throughout Holland. The tulips are generally large and brightly colored. The most eye-catching colors are red, pink, yellow, or white tulips.

1:56 The Tulips Arrived In Turkey From Iran, Afghanistan, And Kazakhstan in the 1500s.

And the sultans would stick a tulip in their turban. In 1550 the palace gardens of the sultan were filled with beautiful tulips. One nobleman from Flanders was given a tulip and he gave it to another friend who was in charge of the Emperor of Austria’s herb garden.

2:20 The Friend Moved From Austria To Holland In The 16th Century.
One day a tulip bulb was stolen from his garden – from a Dutch trader. And that’s the story of how the tulip became so popular in Holland.

The meaning of tulips is perfect and deep love. Tulips bloom in Holland from mid-April to early May.

3:03 Let’s Visit Belgium’s Bluebells.

Near central Belgium, Hallerbos, also known as "The Blue Forest," is covered in blue and purple in mid-April, during the bluebell season. Bluebells were often used to call in fairies, too. If you “rang” a bluebell like you would a normal bell, the fairies would come to you. Bluebell flowers are dainty yearly flowers that provide a burst of color ranging from deep purple to pinks, whites, and blues. Bluebell flowers represent gratitude and humility.

3:50 Skomer Island Which Is Located Just A Couple Miles Off The Coast Of Wales, Is Known For Both Its Puffin Population And Its Many Beautiful Wildflowers.

In the Spring, the tiny island is covered with daisies, bluebells, and sea thrift, a small evergreen with clusters of pink to lavender or white flowers growing on top of slender stalks that rise above the other foliage, and it slowly spreads; what a sight against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean!

You can see the Puffins from April through August on Skomer Island and wildflowers are at their peak at the end of May.

The bluebell means humility, gratitude, and everlasting love. Daisies symbolize innocence and purity. Sea thrift means beach wave.

4:42 Wisteria Grows All Over Italy In April

It looks like a Fairy Tale World In Italy, and It actually takes your breath away just to marvel at the blossoming wisterias that elegantly frame houses, windows and climb up walls and fences. Or you can watch its beauty reflected in a lake. Some just enjoy walking in a wisteria garden. The meaning of Wisteria is Love, Sensuality, Support, Sensitivity, Bliss, and Tenderness. But like the cherry blossoms, the wisteria fantasy only lasts around two weeks in April each year.

5:21 Let's Take A Look At The “Rose.”

Although it is popular in many countries, in 1986, President Ronald Reagan signed legislation to make it the National Floral Emblem Of the USA.

Roses Have A Long, Colorful History. They have been symbols of beauty, love, war, and even politics. There are 150 species of the rose. They’ve been used as confetti at celebrations, for cosmetics, and even for perfume.

5:54 Let’s Start Out By Looking At The Different Colors Of Roses And Their Meanings:

A white rose stands for purity and innocence. An Ivory rose stands for charm and perfection.

Yellow roses represent friendship and caring. A peach rose means sincerity and gratitude. And an orange rose stands for enthusiasm and energy.

Pink roses stand for femininity, elegance, and sweetness. A hot pink rose can mean appreciation and a light pink rose can mean grace and happiness.

Red roses stand for passion, true love, and romance.

Lavender roses are unique and can mean wonder, mystery, and even love at first sight.

Green roses can mean abundance and money.

Blue roses stand for the impossible or unattainable.

Black roses can stand for the beginning of new things or a major change.

And a multi-colored rose such as pink and white says "thank you;" while a yellow rose with a red tip can say, "I'm falling in love with you," and also friendship.
