Hi, I'm Brad, I'm John, we're going to do the latest release from Mission Souls.
This time around, I've been saying for a while, we need to get Isaiah on the drums,
we need to get him to do some singing. Well, this time around,
he does a little bit of beatboxing as well, so we're approaching closer to singing.
This time around, they are covering What Do You Want From Me? A bit of a confusing one,
this, as far as the story goes. They listed it as a cover of a Pink song. Okay, fair enough.
Well, Pink recorded the song in 2008 for her Funhouse album. It didn't make the cut,
the song was never released. It was then recorded and released by Adam Lambert
as the second single on his debut album, which was called For Your Entertainment in November of 2009.
So that was the first time it was actually released as a song.
Pink's version finally popped up in 2010 on a couple of releases more since then,
but this is when it first popped up. A couple of releases of her greatest hits so far album,
which was amusing because it popped up on her greatest hits album when it never actually
been released on another album. Go figure. That's the industry for you. Yeah. So anyway,
this is Mission Soul's cover of What Do You Want From Me? Pink's version.
We'll have to see how good it is. Which is technically the original version of the song,
it just wasn't actually released for two years. Well, I don't know, I don't know any
Pink's music or songs. Usually they do music, usually do the great classics of the 60s,
70s and 80s. You actually probably do know some of Pink's stuff. If I know it, it's from
TV or commercial. Yeah, TV, commercial, social media and stuff like that.
I have no idea. You'll know a couple of them because I know a couple of them and I was kind
of like, oh, that's who Pink is. So it was kind of one of those situations where it's kind of like,
oh, that's who they are. All right. Well, before we get going, make sure you hit that like,
subscribe, check out the description down below where you can find all the information and stuff
that we have down there. I really should. It's not going to matter. That's true. I don't know
if there's another song. This is a good song. I kind of recognise it.
Hey, slow it down. What do you want from me? Yeah, I'm afraid for me.
So what do you want from me?
Also, another song with some of the fans. Great song news. Right. Yeah,
but at least between the ladies.
Again, get over here, Mike.
I don't know what I'm doing with this. Yeah, doing beatbox. He's going to get, you know,
resigned to doing beatbox, just like all the boxers in the acapella groups. No, no, I can't sing.
Baby, you're beautiful. And there's nothing wrong with you. It's me. I'm a freak.
But thanks for loving me. Because you're doing it perfectly. Yeah, there might have been a time
when I would let you slip away. I wouldn't even try, but I think you could save my life.
Just don't give up. I'm working it out. Please don't give in. I won't let you down.
Need a second to breathe.
Just keep coming around. What do you want from me?
YouTube. Yeah, definitely an upbeat song.
And I can see the jump, too, from the classic rock slash pop songs to songs like this,
because it's a more modern feel, obviously, but it has that same kind of, you know, vibe
as a lot of the classic pop rock songs did in the 60s and 70s.
It definitely feels like the kids are enjoying doing this one.
Maybe a little bit more than some of the older ones. I mean, they enjoy all of them.
Yeah. They seem to just touch more into it, maybe.
Yeah, especially the, I don't know her name, the girl on the keyboard.
Oh.
She seems to have a big smile on her face a lot.
This is probably one of her favorite songs. It was just her idea to do it.
And they're, I mean, obviously, they know how to play, they know how to sing,
they obviously know how to harmonize, I mean.
I'll see if I can remember what her name is by the end of the video,
because obviously, I'm also blanking out.
Yes, I'm blanking out.
All right.
Yeah, even the younger one on the guitar.
She really seemed to be getting into this one, too.
And the boy had a pretty good drumming there, too.
A lot of times, his drumming is, they're the songs that they picked that, you know,
was minimal drumming.
Yeah.
Nacy's is the one on the keyboard.
What is it?
Nacy's.
N-A-C-Y.
She's the oldest one.
Oh, really?
I thought the same.
No.
Really?
I thought the mom was.
She doesn't count.
Yeah, she's the oldest one.
Anyway.
What are you doing?
Borrowing mom.
I forget.
Yes.
Borrowing mom and dad.
Exactly.
Isaiah's the youngest, he's 11.
11?
Yes.
Really?
Currently, 11.
Well, like always, they did a great job.
We're obviously going to continue hitting them up.
So if you want to see those, make sure you hit that like and subscribe.
