Photographing Polar Bears in Churchill, Manitoba!

We traveled to Churchill, Manitoba, Canada in November 2024 to photograph the polar bears on Hudson Bay. Churchill is known as the Polar Bear Capital of the World.
We drove to Thompson, Manitoba and then got on the train to reach Churchill. We spent 4 days and three nights in Churchill. The polar bears congregate near Churchill every fall while they wait for Hudson Bay to ice over so they can hunt the seals. We had a great time not only photographing the polar bears, but also the town itself and other wildlife we spotted. We were hoping to catch a view of the Northern Lights while we were there, but the cloudy/snowy conditions did not let that happen.
