2016 Asian Festival Chinese Fashion Show

Alright, we are representing multiple ethnic minorities from China. As you know, China has 55 government-recognized ethnic minorities. They live mostly in minority frontier regions. This is from the modern-day Han Chinese. This is from Shanghai, region 1930s. On the left is our Tibetan dancer. On the right is from Qin Dynasty palace dance. On the left is Miao minority from the southwestern Chinese region. Silver lining is one of their best-known ornaments. On the right is from Chinese northeastern region, Han Chinese. On the left is Uyghur minority, the Muslim minority of China. On the right is Mongol minority from the northern China. This is from the Han Dynasty of Chinese history, more than 2,000 years ago.
