Making Cepelinai (Lithuanian Stuffed Potato Dumplings) in FNQ

A beautiful day in Far North Queensland as a group of our Lithuanian women made (and some were taught to make) Cepelinai.

Even though our year round warm weather is far from the cold Lithuanian climate, it gave us time to imagine what life was like and reminisce about what life would have been like for those first creating this dish and how it existed in our childhoods and families growing up.

Sharing these precious moments keeps the roots to our culture alive.
