“The Scorpion” Johnny Archer was at the top of his game in 2001. He had won the 1999 US Open 9-Ball Champion, a multi time Mosconi Cup representative and was named the Billiards Digest Player of the Decade for the 1990’s.

Jose Parica is referred to as “The Leader of the Invasion”, based on him being the first of many Filipino players to come to America. He had been winning titles for years with major wins in the Philippines, Asia and the USA.
