Jumping up and down is not good for your dog, especially as they get older. It can cause trauma and injury to your dog's shoulders, elbows and back. I like to teach my dogs to use a ramp early on, usually when they are puppies. It's a simple skill that also teaches control.

I highly recommend that you teach your dog to learn this skill early on!
