Mind and Matter Are Not Two Separate Things

A woman ask if it is mind or matter that vibrates at a higher frequency? Rupert replies that
mind and matter are not two separate things. It's not that matter is a higher or lower frequency than mind, it's rather that matter is what the activity of mind looks like from a localised point of view. Matter is the appearance of mind.

Infinite consciousness vibrating, or the movement of consciousness, is what we call mind. On the inside it is experienced as thoughts and feelings and on the outside it is experienced as the world. So mind appears as matter from our localised perspective. But what we are really looking at is not matter, it is the appearance of consciousness' activity.

For example, when we dream at night it seems as though we see matter, like houses, cars and trees but these are all really made of the dreamer's mind. They are the activity of the dreamer's mind. So the universe that appears to us is really made of consciousness, it only appears to be made out of matter from our limited and localised point of view.

We could say that the mind is one vibrating frequency of infinite consciousness. The world is another vibrating frequency of infinite consciousness. Therefore thoughts, feelings, the body, world and the universe are the same thing – they are different frequencies of the one. Everything is a manifestation of the one.
