V was packing for a sleepover. PJs? Check. Toothbrush? Check. But pickle? Pickle was gone!
And all she found was a clue. If pickle's your pal and you want him back,
find the thing that carries your snack. Her lunchbox looked odd. Inside, a half-eaten
sandwich, an apple and a note. Pickle's not smelly, he's clever and quick.
He hopped to the room where the clock goes tick. In the living room, a note stuck to the clock.
To finish this quest, collect every bit. Next clue is hiding. Where you sit.
V bounced on the couch. She flipped a cushion. There, a puzzle piece and a note.
Where scissors dance and glue sticks play. Your next clue hides without delay.
At the craft corner, glue, glitter and another piece. A note beside the yarn read.
You're doing quite well. What a great chase. Pickle moved on to the bubbly place.
Bee peeked under the sink. A puzzle piece and a bubbly rhyme.
Pickle played here and made a big splash, but now he's gone in a laundry dash.
She opened the laundry basket. Another piece on top. A note fluttered out.
Last clue, dear Bee, and then you'll see. Go where we drink a cup of tea.
In the kitchen, Bee crouched by the tea table. Under the chair, the final piece.
Bee pieced the puzzle together. It showed the garden bench.
Fluff let out the door. Hold on, Pickle. I'm coming.
In the garden on the bench, under a tree, there was Pickle. Tucked in leaves,
Daisy behind his ear. Gotcha, Bee grinned.
That evening, Bee held Pickle close. In his paw was a tiny note.
Next time, I'll leave a map. Bee chuckled. A map would be very helpful.
