Before we pray, let's take a moment to reflect on God's Word and then we'll come together in prayer.
There've been times I've felt so low, like my spirit was dragging, and I couldn't find the strength to rise.
Maybe you've been there too, where weariness or sorrow pulls you down, and lifting up feels impossible.
But I've learned that Jesus doesn't just meet us in the valley, He lifts us out.
Isaiah 40.31 says,
Lord, you see every low place I'm in, the tiredness that sinks me, the sorrows that press me, the moments when my soul feels grounded.
But you, Jesus, are greater than all of it. You are the one who lifted Peter from the waves, who raised the dead to life, who ascended to glory for my sake.
And I know that if you can do all that, you can lift my spirit today, right here, right now.
Thank you, Lord, for your boundless grace. Thank you for the cross where you bore my burden so I could rise with you.
I lift my voice to praise you, because even when I'm down, you are worthy of every song of joy.
You are the resurrection and the life, the everlasting light, and your love never lets me go.
When I think of how you've raised me, through heavy days, through tearful nights, through times I thought I'd stay low, I can't help but say thank you.
You've been my wings, Lord, and I know you always will be. But I confess, Jesus, that I don't always reach for your lift.
Sometimes I stay in the pit. I let exhaustion hold me, or I let despair weigh me, forgetting your power to raise me up.
I've lingered, Lord, trying to climb out alone, only to sink deeper.
Forgive me for that. Forgive me for the times I've ignored your hand, for the moments I've doubted your strength.
Today I open my arms. I lay every heaviness, every slump, every weary breath before you.
And I ask you to lift my spirit with your grace, a grace that makes me soar like an eagle.
Lord, I need your lift today. I need it for the deep dips, the grief that drags me, the failures that floor me.
And I need it for the quiet lows too, the days when energy fades and my spirit sags.
Your word says in Psalm 3 3, You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory and the lifter of my head.
Lift my head now, Jesus. Raise my spirit when it droops. Help me to soar above what pulls me down, because you are my strength.
I remember a time when I felt stuck. Maybe some of you watching can relate, when disappointment hit hard and I couldn't shake the slump.
For me it was a plan that fell apart, leaving me deflated. I'd pray, Lord, lift me, but I'd still feel the drag.
Then one morning I sang. My hope is built on nothing less, and I felt you, Jesus.
A lightness crept in, a lift that carried me up, and I know you'll do that now, for me and for everyone listening.
Your word in 2 Corinthians 12 9 says, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
I'm weak now, Lord, lift me with your power, and not just for me, Jesus.
I lift up every heart watching this video. You know their lows, their heavy places, their silent sighs.
Some are sinking under loss, others under stress. Some feel drained by life, and others can't rise from yesterday's fall.
Raise them, Lord, fill them with your grace. Let them feel your lift like wind beneath wings, carrying them high, setting them free.
Lord, I ask for peace too, because your lift brings peace.
Your word in John 16 33 says, In me you may have peace. Give me that peace, Jesus.
When my spirit dips, let your calm raise me. And as I pray for peace, I pray for hope, for the one who's hopeless, who's lost the will to rise.
Romans 15 13 says, You give hope in abundance. Fill us, Lord, high-flying hope.
I pray for joy too, for the one who's joyless, who's stuck in grey.
Psalm 30 11 says, You turn mourning into dancing. Lift us to dance, Jesus. I love how your word keeps raising us, Lord.
In Psalm 42 it says, He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire. He set my feet on a rock.
Set my feet today, for me, for everyone watching. Lift us to your rock.
And here's a story, Lord, because you love when we tell of your grace.
There was a time I was low, sapped by a long season of waiting. I'd pray, Jesus help, but I'd still feel flat.
Then one day, I read Psalm 121 12, I lift my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord. I looked up, Lord, and you lifted me. A spark, then a sore. I know someone needs that now.
Whatever weighs you, Jesus lifts you. He's alive, he's here, and his grace raises.
So I keep praying, Lord, because your lift is endless. I pray for strength, for the one too tired to rise, too weak to fly.
Isaiah 41 10 says, You uphold us. Uphold us, Jesus. I pray for faith, for the one doubting, unsure you'll lift.
Hebrews 11 1 says, Faith is assurance. Assure us, Lord. I pray for rest, too, for the one warm, thin, restless below.
Matthew 11 28 says, You give rest. Rest us, Jesus. I could pray all day, Lord, because your grace never drops.
I think of times you've lifted me, a kind word in a slump, a prayer that raised me, a moment of light that felt like flight.
You're in it all, Jesus. So I pray for spirits to rise for myself, for everyone.
Open our spirits to your lift in the lows, the lulls, the longing. Help us soar like Isaiah's eagles, like Paul in chains, like Mary at the tomb.
Your grace is our wind, our wings, our rise. And as I pray, I think of your love, how it lifts every fall.
1 Peter 5 10 says, You restore and lift us. Let us feel that love today, Lord. Let it raise us, hold us, remind us we're yours.
You died to lift us to glory, and that's why we can rise. So I pray for boldness to soar in your grace, to live lifted, to share your lift.
Make us carriers of your rise, Jesus, even when we're low, because your power lifts us.
Lord, I'll keep going, because praying together is mighty.
I pray for families watching, for heaviness that binds, for spirits that sag. Lift those homes, Jesus.
I pray for workplaces, for drain, for doubt, for down. I pray for churches, for weariness, for slump, for your spark.
And I pray for this world, for the fallen, the heavy, the lost. Let your lift reach through us.
Thank you, Lord, for hearing us. Thank you for your grace that lifts.
I trust you with every low, every lift, every heart. You're our Savior, our strength, our King.
We love you, Jesus. Lift our spirits today and every day with your perfect grace.
