It is one of the largest product upgrades we have ever made at Porsche.
We have done the full program here on this vehicle, practically as with the new development.
We did the cold test in the Arctic.
We even did the off-road test in Spain, in the off-road terrain.
We did the U.S.A. test.
We did dune trips in Morocco.
We did the same as when we develop a new project.
We have invested significantly more on the chassis,
to further expand the spread between comfort and off-road and sportiness.
We have installed a two-chamber air suspension chassis
with traction and pressure control on the dampers.
It is a semi-active system,
so that the customer can clearly feel
that it is a stable, well-balanced vehicle.
Of course, it is a completely new challenge,
also in terms of chassis tuning.
A serious SUV simply has to be able to do this,
even if the customer probably wouldn't do it to his car.
But he knows he could do it.
This is a promise that we keep.
Of course, all the applications have to fit the vehicle,
in terms of the drivability and the driving dynamics of the vehicle.
Especially with the PF drives,
we have made a significant effort,
with a larger battery, higher e-machine performance.
And of course, this also has to be tuned properly.
It's just great when you can drive around the corners with the vehicles in the drift,
and still be able to brake in a controlled manner.
It's just sensational what the vehicles can do on ice and snow,
and still remain stable.
The cold always comes with it,
because of course it pollutes everything.
The components have to withstand a lot of ice,
and of course all the chassis parts,
all the lines and so on,
when a kilo of white ice freezes on them,
nothing can break, nothing can fall off,
no disturbance can occur.
Of course, this is a tough requirement.
In general, the alignment of the chassis, the air suspension,
it has to be tight, it has to work at minus 30 degrees.
These are some things that you just have to check.
We put pressure on the specialist areas,
and show all defects without mercy.
That's our job, that's why we're here.
We have integrated completely new lighting technology
into the new Cayenne.
On the one hand, of course, once from the design,
but the technology in it is 32,000 pixels per headlight.
And it offers an incredible number of possibilities
to display them differently.
We have light at construction sites,
we have light at narrow places,
we have light on the motorway,
and this new headlight makes everything possible
through this completely new lighting technology.
My top three in the new Cayenne are
the new chassis,
the performance drives,
and the beautiful new interior design.
