An insightful discussion on finding your inspiration and passion and in life. Brandon asks Rupert for clarification and validation on the source of inspiration and how to unlock our creativity and purpose. Before talking about personal inspiration, Rupert identifies pure consciousness as the source of all intelligence and creativity. He then explains that when pure consciousness localises itself in the form of an individual mind, creativity will depict itself with an expression unique to that person’s distinctive passions and talents.

To illustrate, Rupert talks about musical creativity. Pure consciousness expresses itself through the artist as musical inspiration. The musician’s mind has been fashioned so that when the impersonal flow of intelligence and creativity flows through it, it expresses itself in a way that is consistent with those limitations—resulting in an inspired song or piece of music.

The inspiration comes from an impersonal source but is shaped by the unique and personal features of the finite mind as a unique form. It's like sunlight shining through innumerable stained glass windows. Every stained glass window features a slightly different pattern, a slightly different size, a slightly different shape, a slightly different combination of colours and patterns. The same light flows through each window yet the light that comes out the other side is unique—to that window.

Your mind, like sunlight, is conditioned by the window and the pattern that emerges will be a unique expression of the sunlight, but conditioned by a particular window. It will have its own particular form, shape, conditioning, and qualities. The one light of consciousness flows through your mind and comes out in full in terms comes out or is expressed uniquely.
