Wow! Starship’s New Static Fire Stand Installed! Big Tests in a few days…
A new test stand has just been installed on the Orbital Launch Mount, signaling the start of a series of powerful tests. With each component now falling into place, the next Starship launch is drawing near.
At the same time, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 has launched a payload to orbit on behalf of Jeff Bezos’ company, supporting the deployment of its satellite network.
Across the globe, China has also marked a significant milestone, successfully delivering new-generation spacesuits to the Tiangong space station. These suits are a key part of their broader preparations for a set of bold and highly ambitious missions.

Signs of this development emerged on July 16, when observers noticed the Ship Quick Disconnect arm retract from its usual position, creating room for the Chopsticks system to operate. The QD arm later returned to place, signaling that a lift operation was being readied. By the morning of July 17, the heavy-duty crane stationed at Pad B had been moved to Pad A, confirming that the long-awaited installation was imminent. The lift commenced early on July 18, and within thirty minutes, the test stand was successfully placed atop the OLM. Later that same day, the crane disengaged, confirming that the stand was securely in position.
