You guys know bridal tutorials are my favorite.
They are my bread and butter.
So I have another one today.
I don't really know where we're going.
I picked like peachy, pinky colors.
I think that's the color story of today,
but I've already done one.
Well, I guess I followed one last month,
but I told you guys I was gonna do
some more bridal tutorials
because I talked about this earlier in the year,
but I'm actually like having a wedding in a couple months
and I need to figure out my makeup situation
because I haven't.
This is the first time I'm sitting down
to kind of see what we can concoct.
I'd imagine this is not gonna end up being my own makeup,
but I wanna do a few looks and see how I'm feeling,
try some different products, combinations.
I was a bridal makeup artist for a few years.
So generally speaking, I would say I'm pretty good
to follow for advice when it comes to bridal makeup.
I have a ton of bridal makeup tutorials on my channel
if you wanna check them out,
but this one's different because it's for me
and it's like, what am I going to wear?
And today I really, I don't know what direction we're going.
I'm just, since we're starting from like ground zero,
I'm gonna see what I like from this tutorial,
what different products I pulled that I enjoyed
and then I'll probably do another one
until I get the final look.
So let's get into it.
For my base, no SPF.
You hear me, today and today only for the wedding day.
You don't want any flashbacks.
You'll survive one day, but every other day, wear the SPF.
I do have dry skin.
I know my event is gonna be indoors with AC,
so I'm not worried about longevity so much.
So I'm gonna go with something hydrating
because I want it to look fresh.
I don't want it to look dewy,
but I definitely want to have that fresh aspect.
So I'm gonna use the Danessa Myricks
Yummy Skin Glow Serum in the shade Fresh Pressed.
And if you're confused, like Morgan,
I thought you were already married.
I am.
I've been married for almost five years.
And I've talked about this multiple times
throughout my channel,
but if you miss the videos or you've just joined here,
my husband, Jose, he's from Spain.
When we got married five years ago, it was during COVID
and there were travel restrictions.
His own family couldn't come to our wedding,
but we had to.
But we wanted to get married
because with the immigration process
that we wanted to take,
we wanted him to be able to stay in the U.S.
So we opted to get married
and then start the immigration process
while he was here in the U.S.
So we ended up having a super small wedding
with it being COVID.
Like only my immediate family could be there,
unfortunately, that his couldn't.
So it was always, always, always in the plan
that we would have a wedding in Spain.
Okay, I'm gonna do my brows.
Just brow gel.
Gonna use Rare Beauty Brow Gel, of course.
What we didn't expect was that it was gonna take
three years to get his visa approved.
I mean, we knew the immigration process takes a long time,
but three years was kind of crazy.
And I know some people wait longer.
So during those three years,
he actually couldn't leave the country.
He was stuck in the U.S.
So we definitely could not get married in Spain.
So it ended up taking three years
for his visa to get approved.
So obviously we couldn't have our wedding in Spain then.
Then the fourth year, the fourth summer
that we would have been able to have it,
that was the year Jose and I had bought our house.
So we didn't have any money for our wedding.
And obviously house was a bigger priority.
And finally, this fifth year,
we're having this damn wedding.
And everybody said we wouldn't have it.
We're proving them wrong.
We did.
Well, we're going to.
We're gonna let that dry.
Now foundation mix.
I'm trying something.
I haven't tried this mix before.
I want the Double Wear for the staying power,
but I want the Chanel Le Beige
Water Fresh Complexion Touch
for the hydration and freshness of the skin.
I don't know if this combo is gonna work,
but I'm gonna try.
So we've been calling this our wedding.
We are going to legalize our marriage in Spain
while we're there.
But we've called this like our five-year anniversary party.
We've called this our wedding reception.
We've called it our wedding in reality.
So the reality of what this is technically,
it's our wedding reception
because we did not have a reception or anything
for our like first real marriage.
So this is like the after party vibes kind of situation.
We're having dinner and a little celebration there.
And this is really just an opportunity
to celebrate with his family.
I'm very blessed.
So a good number of my friends and family members
are actually traveling.
I told my family like no big deal if you can't make it.
I mean, we've been married for a bit.
This is really for the Spanish side of our family.
But if you want an excuse to hit up Spain, you are invited.
So we're very, very excited.
But that's the situation.
That's what I mean when I say we're getting married.
We're having finally our wedding reception.
We're having that in Spain
to celebrate with Jose's side of the family.
So this is not nearly as stressful as I'd imagine
like a real big wedding would be
because you know, I'm more chill about it.
I didn't even want like a big fancy wedding dress.
I'm like, I've been married.
It's fine.
I want a nice dress.
I want it to be a nice evening.
I want to give people a chance to dress up,
eat some good food, have a DJ,
be in a nice restaurant, that kind of situation.
So yeah, it's not like a real true wedding wedding,
but it is a celebration of our marriage.
So we're really excited about it.
And that's what's going on with our situation
and what I mean when I talk about it
because I know it does kind of sound like,
what, what are you guys doing?
Trying to decide how I feel about this combo.
I'm not sure.
I see elements of both coming into play.
I mean, part of this, you know,
it's not really too much of a tutorial
as it is me kind of seeing what products
I want to travel with for the look.
I think I'd want to try something else
instead of the Chanel foundation
because it's really hard to mix the little balls into this.
But I do think Estee Lauder is a great mix
to get that coverage and that wear
and then adding something more hydrating.
So I'll have to go back to the drawing board with this,
but it does still look very nice.
Don't get me wrong.
I might just have to pull out a Dior foundation.
That one is kind of more reliable.
I do have a concealer combo I'm excited to try.
Again, bringing the best of both worlds,
I have the Houselabs concealer
and I'm mixing it with the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Concealer
and I just love how hydrating and creamy the Houselabs is,
but it actually doesn't crease really too much at all.
But just for longevity purposes,
something a little drier,
I'm using my new rediscovered favorite, the Huda Beauty.
Why am I doing concealer first?
That was silly of me.
Should be doing the eyes first.
That's okay, that's okay.
We'll make it work.
When I do my brides or when I did my brides,
eyeshadow first always,
I was excited for this concealer combo to try it out.
See if I like it.
Doing my own little concoctions are always fun.
I'm gonna put a little bit of the concealer over my eyelid.
Though day of, I probably won't do all this.
All over the eyelid, I'll do an eye primer.
Wedding day, I'm doing my eye makeup right now
instead of finishing my complexion
in case anything falls off.
That's okay, we won't do that today.
Cause I'm really excited to get complexion figured out,
honestly, just to see the products
that I envisioned together.
I do love me a cream bronzer.
So I'm gonna use the Makeup By Mario Soft Sculpt.
This is one of my favorites because it's a drier formula
so it lasts such a long time.
But it's still a cream.
So it melts into the skin like a powder never could.
So trying not to keep this too low.
We want to keep it on the higher side,
but I love this.
This is one of my favorite cream bronzers for events.
This was a go-to for me when I lived in that Miami heat
because even though it's a cream,
it still withstood the heat really, really well.
I like this color, Light Medium,
because it's not too warm, but it's also not too gray.
It looks really nice in photography
and it keeps you looking nice and hydrated.
And then don't forget to put a little bit on the jawline.
Now, if you want a more technique-heavy video,
I'll link my favorite one that I've done down below.
That one, I really focus on the why's of what I'm doing
and the little tips and tricks.
So definitely check that video out.
This one is more me discovering
what type of bridal look I want to go for for day of.
Like lips is always, what do I want to wear for the lips?
That's always such a big decision to make
and like blush and stuff like that.
I'm gonna use the shade Fair
from the same makeup by Mario Stick.
I haven't tried this color yet,
but I think it's gonna be a fantastic nose color.
Ooh, yeah, it definitely is beautiful.
Go ahead and put this down here as well.
I'm doing a pinky BJ look today.
I'm thinking the next look that I do
will be like a Mavi kind of look.
How fun would that be?
Or should I just do more of like a supernatural,
like neutral color looks as well?
Because I definitely want to try
like a Mavi bridal look on myself
and then something really supernatural.
For blush, I pulled Pink Sky from Tarte.
I haven't tried this one,
but I think the color is really pretty.
Or I also pulled, and this is kind of a little bit more
on the warmer orangey side,
the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Blush Wand in Peach Pop.
I'm looking at the eyeshadow palette that I pulled.
I actually think this will be the better option
to go with the eyeshadow palette that I pulled.
So we'll do a peachy,
but I do have a peachy pinky blush to set with
that will add more of the pink element.
And I was debating if I even want to do the extra steps
of a cream blush.
I've decided to since blush does fade.
So for pictures and whatnot,
you do want your blush to be a little bolder
than how you'd probably normally want it
because your makeup gets washed away in photography.
So a cream blush with a powder blush layered over top
is a great way to ensure that you look blushy and fleshy
in your photos for the whole event.
So we'll start off with this.
This isn't too much.
Yeah, that's very, very pretty.
I do at this point want to fill in my brows.
I'm gonna use the ABH Brow Wiz over top.
I always recommend for bridal brows
to just follow the natural shape of your brow.
Don't do anything too trendy
because brow trends are always gonna come and go.
The brows that were popular when I got married
have already changed.
So sticking with something more classic
is always a safe bet.
I am going a little trendy
because I did use the Rare Beauty Brow Gel
to give a more, not quite laminated,
but it gives that sort of effect.
Really, if I was going for something truly timeless,
I would have used a lesser hold brow gel
and just have followed my natural shape that way,
but I can't help it.
I've gotta add in touches
that just make me feel really confident in the now.
But yeah, if I was going for a classic timeless bridal,
would not have used that brow gel.
But I think that's what's beautiful about bridal makeup.
It doesn't always need to be classic.
I think it's important to also not be afraid of looks
that define you at the time.
I think that's fun to look back in at photos as well.
When I did bridal makeup,
I would always try to take classic elements
and then mix them with more modern elements
that the bride likes.
But brows are one of those things where in a few years,
what was popular then will be different.
That looks pretty good.
I'll use a little bit of concealer to clean up underneath.
If you're going for a more natural look,
using something like the Makeup Forever Artist Color Pencil
in Boundless Bisque is better
for more of a natural brow look to clean up underneath
because it's more of like a soft powder
as opposed to something more intense like this concealer.
But like I said, for myself,
I'm mixing in some classic element.
I'm mixing in some timeless elements
as well as my own personal favorite touches
of more modern makeup.
And it's funny because even five years ago
when I got married,
there's some things that I did
that just I'm gonna do different this time around.
Like my lashes were heavy
because that's when false lashes were really in their prime.
I think my eye makeup was a little bit darker
than I'm planning to go around this time.
So I think it's kind of fun that I get,
not a do over,
but now I'm gonna have photos
that kind of reflect my style now, which is fun.
Next, I'm gonna use
Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Setting Powder in,
I'm gonna use Peach Pie.
I think this is a bit deeper for me right now,
but I'm thinking by the time of when my event is,
I'll be more tan, one would hope.
So this one will be a bit brighter at that time,
but non-negotiable.
I will probably be using this powder
because it's my favorite formula.
It really truly is.
The best for blurred makeup and looking good
all day.
And I'm really trying to simplify this look as well.
If I really wanted to get into the nitty gritty
of like a good bridal tutorial,
there's lots of in between steps that I could be adding,
but I don't know,
I just don't feel myself going the extra mile the day of.
I'm doing my own makeup
and I'm gonna do what makes me feel beautiful,
but I don't feel the need to be so extra,
so chill about it.
But I do want to clarify,
if I was doing a bride's makeup,
I would go the extra mile,
do those little steps that make the big difference.
But on myself, I'm not too worried about it.
I just wanna do what makes me feel beautiful.
You see, I'm just pressing the powder in with a puff
where I have some pores and whatnot.
And overall, I just want my skin to look really smooth,
which I do feel it does.
I'm gonna take the Reveal Beauty
Endless Diffusion Everyday Bake Blush in Daydream.
I think this is the perfect peachy pinky blush
to set the Charlotte Tilbury.
And I'm gonna use a brush that's not too dense
just to lightly set here.
Oh, that's such a beautiful blush.
If I end up going for a peachy pinky look,
which I think the reason that I am first trying
this color story is because of the colors of my wedding,
which is going to be kind of like in a greenhouse situation
and we're gonna have like the classic pink flowers.
So I kind of wanted to match that more floral vibe,
but at the same time, it's in the evening.
So then I'm like, I could go a little bit more evening
if I wanted to.
We're having it later at night, honestly really late,
but that's such a pretty pinky peachy option.
And then for highlights, this one I always go for.
I feel like Dior has the best bridal highlights,
but I actually wanna try this Shape Tape Glow Powder
in Starlit from Tarte, which I really like.
Wanna see if this passes like the bridal test.
Let's see.
So I do want it more natural,
which is different than how I believe I did it
for our wedding five years ago.
I'm sure I went blinding to the gods,
but I love how natural this is.
Oh my gosh, we have a winner.
I actually think I might travel with this highlight
because how stunning is this?
I mean, my skin looks, my skin looks so good right now.
Take a little bit down the nose, right here.
I'm actually gonna take a little bit like this.
Beautiful.
I almost forgot to set my bronzer.
So I'm just using this Chantecaille Flower Power
Perfect Blur Finishing Powder.
This is just a finishing powder, but it's in a deeper shade.
I don't want to add more pigmentation,
so that's why I'm using this.
It's more so to set and smooth my cream bronzer
because this does have a wonderful blur to it.
Now, with my older bridal looks,
I was a little bit more focused
on more angular kind of looks,
paying a little bit closer attention
to like the highlights and the shadows.
So I would often use, I have this Kaleidos trio.
Like I would definitely use a brighten powder
maybe right here.
Not as focused on that this time around,
but if you really want to play with light,
something like this is very cool.
Like you'll see just adding that,
added some shape to my face.
Love this, love the powders I just used.
And I want to set first with a more hydrating spray
because I'm going for a more fresh look.
So I'm using the Em Cosmetics Divine Water Perfecting Mist.
And this is just going to make it look less powdery.
I'm using powder because it's going to be in the summer.
I'm not going to use cream makeup
for it to melt off my face,
but I do feel comfortable using something like this
and my glowier base because it will be indoors with AC.
So it's all about finding the balance for your event.
If the event is outdoors, oh, we're not layering creams on.
We don't want that makeup to melt kind of situation,
but to my skin type temperatures, I'm covering those bases.
So we're just going to continue to let that set.
I actually think I want to do a little bit more
because that really pushed in the powder beautifully
and really freshened up my skin.
I love this setting spray.
It is amazing for hydration.
Let's figure out this eye shadow.
I think I'm just going to do the first eye off camera
to kind of figure out what I'm doing.
I'm going simple.
It's going to be a more simple eye look.
I just want the colors to be very blended
and give that peachy pinky vibe.
That I know for sure.
It's one of those things where for how simple the look is,
there was kind of a lot of steps.
So I'm using the Milani eye shadow primer.
Ideally, I would have less concealer on my eyelids.
That's OK. We'll make it work.
Patting this on.
Love this Milani eye shadow primer.
But I do want a little bit of concealer on the eyelids
because you want it to be really clean, blank slate.
I'm taking a big old fluffy brush
and I'm using first my Viseart Neutral Mattes palette,
which just has every basic shade you need.
I'm taking this light peach shade
and with my fluffy brush, I'm putting it everywhere.
All over the eyelid, all over the crease.
Just put it everywhere.
This is slightly lighter than my skin tone,
so there's a little bit of brightening happening,
which is what I wanted.
I'm also going to take a flat shader brush.
Blended that everywhere.
Just going to go into the light cream shade here in the corner.
Just going to brighten up under here.
Set that.
And then I'm going to go into the shade next to it,
which is slightly deeper.
Using the same brush.
And I'm not putting it quite as everywhere.
I'm keeping it a little bit more contained.
But I am allowing this to go all over the lid as well
and keeping it slightly lower.
I'm going to also take this on a pointy brush
and I'm just going to run this along the lower lash.
This is going to help set the concealer as well
and make it look less greasy.
It's all an illusion.
Okay, and then I double check
to make sure this was available before.
I'm using the Amelie palette from Viseart.
It's just a little quad.
And this is going to give the most perfect,
peachy, bridal eye.
It is a stunning, stunning palette.
So I'm taking a smaller crease brush.
I didn't want it to look quite as orange.
So I'm just keeping this really tight in the crease.
Just a couple windshield wiper motions
just to add some depth
because even though I'm going for something lighter
and brighter, I still want that definition
to pop through in photographs.
So we still are going to go a little deeper than wanted
so that it will show through in photographs.
And I'm taking, I'm joking, on my own spit,
I'm taking an even tighter brush.
And this has a nice, warm brown shade.
This is where I'm going to keep the definition.
I'm keeping it tight, putting that on the lash line as well,
the outer half, and blending.
And I'm blending with my eyes open
to make sure the definition is visible but not over-blended
because again, I want there to be shape
to my eye in photographs.
So over-blending on the daily is encouraged,
but for the photography side of it,
I want to keep it really intentional in the placement.
I'm also going to take just a little bit of it,
not too much, deepen up the outer half
of the lower lash line.
And this is a really good traditional shape of eyeshadow
that's quite timeless.
And then I'm taking my shader brush
and this shade is the prettiest, bridal, peachy eye.
And ideally, there would be no powder on my face
so I wouldn't have to tip my head back so far.
Make sure we don't get fallout.
You could even wet the brush if you want
for something more metallic.
I still want to keep it somewhat soft.
I don't want anything too metallic,
but I want to have this glow to the eye.
Blend that.
How beautiful is that?
You can even reapply some of the dark shade
along the lash line if you want to bring back
a little bit more depth.
I'm also going to take the lid shade
and I like a little bit of brightness down here.
This is more of like a daytime vibe
to really make it look like your eyes are glowing,
but I think that this technique is so beautiful
to apply a little bit of the brightening shade
on the lower lash.
And this is why I didn't mean to do eye makeup
after face makeup,
but I'm just lightly going to brush away the excess.
This is a beautiful bridal peach eye.
Loving it.
And then I'm taking Tarte Highlight, gorgeous.
I'm going to go for a more subtle eyeliner.
I'm using the Jones Road, the best pencil.
And then I have an angled brush nearby.
And I'm going to be really specific with my placement.
You want to make sure that the lashes are filled in
and that there's no gaps.
So I'm just taking my time running this
literally in the eyelashes.
For the inner corner, I'm just lightly going to fill that.
Get the tight line.
Okay.
So now that we have the base
so that there's no gaps in the lashes,
now I can work on blending this in the outer corner.
And then I want a little bit of a straighter wing.
And I love this pencil because it's like a powder.
So I'm going to start using my brush
to blend everything out.
I just want a subtle liner today.
I may end up adding a little bit more liner
when we get to false lashes.
But for now, we're going to start off with something
a little bit more simple like this.
Kind of see where it takes us.
I haven't decided on any lip color, you guys, yet.
It's going to be fun to take that out.
But how pretty is this?
It's so fresh.
Taking Shiseido Lash Curler.
And I'm going to focus mostly on my lower lashes.
Don't really care what the upper lashes look like.
If you're a crier, please use waterproof mascara.
I'm just using what I have right now.
I really like Lancome Definicels and Lancome Monster Big.
So I'm going to use these.
Just a light coat on the upper.
But obviously, if you're not doing falsies,
spend a little bit more time on these.
But I really like the Ardell Naked Lashes for bridal.
So I'm going to pop these on.
These are the 420s.
And they're going to still look very natural,
but for somebody who just doesn't have much lash,
it's going to give them to me.
And I think lashes are one of the most important things
for bridal.
They can really change the look.
They just make you look so pretty.
I'll be back.
I just looked at myself in the mirror in my bathroom
and I was like, oh wait, this looks so pretty.
Maybe I do want to wear this on the wedding day.
I love how it just bursts of peach, but it's so natural.
I actually really like this.
Okay, so just melting or pinching my natural lashes
and the Ardell together to make it look more natural
so that in photos there's no separation
of natural lash and false lash.
And you see how these look super natural,
but still give oomph to the look.
And I want to do a peachy lip,
so I'm going to use MAC Beige Turner for the outline.
Let's just draw this on.
Not 100% sure about the lip color that I picked.
Need to see it on.
But I do want an outline here.
I want definition to show through on the lips
since we went so light on the eyes.
And then I'm just gonna fill in the corner.
Then, I thought this one would be pretty.
I haven't tried this color on.
This is why I'm not sure.
But this is from Estee Lauder
and it's the shade Modern Muse.
Look how beautiful does that look.
I pulled also Keen Dash Call Me Peaches, which is more matte.
These look kind of close.
And then I also pulled NARS Orgasm,
which is more peachy pinky.
I thought that that one could also be very pretty.
But I want to try Estee.
I think this is too peach.
I mean, it goes with the look.
But I don't know if I want to wear
such a peachy lip for the look.
Just because I don't feel like it will bring out
my features enough in the photos.
But this is a perfect lipstick for this look.
I just don't know that it's what I want.
Maybe I need more.
Okay, I'm not in love with this for my vision.
But it's definitely gorgeous for the look.
Let me see if I like the NARS
because it's more of a peachy pink.
That's pretty too.
Hold on, let me keep digging.
Because I do like the pink.
Because I do like the peach.
I don't like the finish of this
because this is slightly metallic.
It's not as flattering.
See, the lips is always a hard choice.
I can never choose.
It's like I wanted the peach look
but I don't love the peach lip.
Just on myself.
Okay, so I'm thinking maybe I want something
lighter in the center.
I don't know if Dior sells this anymore
because you know how they've changed their lineup.
But this is a little bit of a lighter peach.
Which one is this?
449.
Smells good.
Okay, mm-hmm.
Okay, perfect.
This is, I wanted it like a lighter peach.
Okay, perfect.
So I still have that darker outline from Beige Turner.
And then the lighter color.
Yeah, I think I like that better.
I don't know, what do you guys think?
Which one was your favorite?
Like I do prefer this.
But maybe the Estee Lauder still liked this one too.
Anyways, few different peach options for you.
You could also do a gloss.
Who do I have near me?
Gonna just do some Pat McGrath Flesh Astral.
That's really pretty.
Okay, I like the lip now.
I'm happy with the lip.
And then finally, the finishing touch.
I want my setting spray to make my makeup last longer.
So I'm gonna use my all-time favorite
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray.
This will finish us off.
And then the day of, right,
I would put makeup along the neck, the chest,
some glow along the decollete.
But on the daily, I don't like things on my decollete.
It feels icky to me.
It feels so gross and sticky.
So I'm just gonna, we're just doing the face today.
But makeup gets carried down on wedding day for sure.
And that is all to create the perfect
peach glowing bridal look.
And I don't know, I didn't know what to expect from it
too much when I pulled all the products.
But I think everything melted together perfectly.
This was the exact vision that I had
for a bridal peachy look.
And this is a contender, I don't know.
I still wanna do like a mauve-y look
and see what I think about that
and like a nude bridal look I wanna try out.
But peach is done and I think the peach
is really, really beautiful.
For brides, I love peach looks, pink looks.
Like I said, mauve-y, nude, neutrals.
I'm feeling myself, wow.
And the skin actually turned out really nice.
Okay, very excited.
This is a good look to follow along
if this is the vibe that you were going for.
And that's the look.
So thank you guys so much for hanging out with me.
I hope you guys love bridal tutorials
as much as I do, as always.
I will have all of the products that I use
