Shoshana shows us an exercise to work the shoulders, calf muscles and legs.
Hi everybody, it's Shoshana with Action News' Fitness Tip.
I'm at the Ab Apartments in King of Prussia.
Grab a single weight,
cause we're gonna put it to work.
This exercise works the shoulders,
the calf muscles,
and the legs.
It's a sumo squat with a front raise,
and we're gonna add in a calf raise as we stand.
I'll show you how it's done.
You're gonna wanna do three sets of this exercise.
Rep range anywhere from 12 to 15.
You work at your own pace.
You ready?
Let's do this.
We're gonna squat down.
Give me that front raise.
See how my wrists are in line with my shoulders.
Bring the weight right back down.
As I stand up,
I'm gonna pop those heels up,
and drop down and squat.
So we raise,
and we stand, lift the heels.
Squat, keeping that core engaged,
and lift.
It's an amazing exercise, right?
We're targeting our legs.
We're targeting the calf muscles,
and the shoulders,
and the core at the same time.
Three sets of 15.
You heard it first.
Keep that body moving and strong
with this exercise today.
