🧡 They have several adaptations including a long, thick tail for balance, large nasal cavities to warm and humidify cold air, and wide, fur-covered feet to help them walk on snow.
🧡 Snow leopards are typically solitary animals and only come together during the breeding season. They are known for their elusive behaviour, making them difficult to study and observe in the wild!
🧡 Their home range can be quite extensive, with males having larger territories than females. These territories can span up to 100 square miles or more!
