Aculco House is a compact 90 m² holiday home designed by PPAA (Pérez Palacios Arquitectos Asociados), located in the heart of Mexico’s natural landscape, surrounded by cliffs and untouched terrain. Built for two brothers who discovered the site during a climbing trip, the house reflects years of care for the land before construction began. With a low-impact approach, it uses locally sourced materials such as andesite stone, clay, wood, and glass in their raw state. The design blends seamlessly with its surroundings, featuring open spaces and large windows that frame the landscape. Aculco House is a celebration of simplicity, sustainability, and deep harmony between architecture and nature.
