Broadsword Sparring - Ben Hamilton (Saorsa) v Nick Thomas (AHF)

This was filming during the AHF Winter 2021 Sparring event. We are working with some of the principals of broadsword and dagger used in the 18th century, a rare but documented pairing for the time. We are both using training versions of the 1796 heavy cavalry sword, Rick has an officer's version by Kraken Swords and Nick a troopers type by Black Fencer.

Note - these are realistically weighted and balanced versions of famously heavy and hard hitting swords, and so while we can spar with them they have to be used with control and suitable respect for what they are.
