Hey Joanna, thanks so much for bringing me here and yeah I'm super excited to have a little
chat with you. How are you doing today? Yeah good, likewise. It's my first time so I'm excited.
You look very good. Thank you. Okay so I know that you have a lot of questions from a lot of people
and we're going to record it and then share it with some to some of your fans so is it okay
if I ask them some questions? Yes of course, I think that these are questions from the fans
directly right? Yeah it's basically like most guys they want to know about dating, red flags,
green flags, catfishing, awkward first date moments and stuff like that. Okay yeah. Sounds
like fun? Yeah sure. Okay let's start with the basics then. What do you look for in a guy?
I think that what they say that a guy that makes you laugh is true. I think there's a lot to be
said in humor. I don't know it kind of brings connection when you both laugh you're like in the
right wave, in the right sync but it's not only that right? You both have to at least share some
similar interests. Not in music necessarily or in art or whatever. It's more about hobbies, things
to do. I remember one of my ex-boyfriends he was also into the same sports that I was doing so of
course we're going to share a lot of time together but laughter is definitely a perfect hook at the
beginning. That's cool. So what sports and hobbies are you interested in then? Mainly kite surfing.
I started that when I was living in Australia so I was terrified at first because I refused to take
lessons so I kind of took a long time to learn but then it became one of my love of my life
and diving so those two. Okay but let's say for example if you're interested in shopping and hair
makeup and nails and the guy is interested in you know in the gym. How would you think it would
work then for a couple like that? What would they do or how would they be able to build a connection?
I don't think that you have to absolutely have like a perfect sync that you both are interested
in each other's hobbies or interests but there has to be an overlap a little bit at least in
something or even make the effort. You know like if you're the girl and you know that your guy is
interested in cars maybe every now and then go to a car meetup when you know that he's very interested
and it shows also that you care and likewise for the man if you know that your lady is very
interested in cooking maybe go for a cute cooking lessons with her and show that that care and then
maybe you also discover a new passion right? That's so true. It's actually such good advice.
Okay here's a good question. How do you flirt without feeling like a job interview?
Oh good question. I think these days I would say most dating is done online. It's kind of a little
bit of a I don't know that something is missing right? Because it's not only dating apps the
place where you can find people. You can go for a coffee, you can buy somebody coffee, you can
walk your dog and meet people. Like I feel that that social skill is being lost but the dating
app is not the only resort you can go to meet people and to answer your question. I think that
you just have to relax a little bit you know like okay relax and don't make it feel even for yourself
that it's a job interview. Just meet the person that is in front of you and for god please just
put your phone down you know your give yourself your attention to that person this is the moment
and then you can check your phone later. I would like for me I'd give that advice because if a guy
is on his phone all the time that I'm in the date oh that would put me off so much.
That's interesting yeah I know a lot of times we're on our phones way too much. I know it's like
nowadays it's like a necessary evil. Most people these days are you know trying to find love and
relationships through dating apps and social media sliding into dms and all that stuff. I'm sure you
know all about that. Have you had a guy actually come up to you in real life and ask you out or
ask you for your number and how does it make you feel and you know what do you think about a guy
that's willing to do that because they're rare these days right? Yes definitely I would say that
in the last two years or even three one guy has come up to ask me for my phone number and even
if I'm not interested in him I really praise his courage because you know it really takes courage
to go to a girl nowadays. There's kind of this sense of anonymity in the dating apps and almost
that's like the reason for all the ghosting or not treating people well because like you don't
even know who I am but when you're face to face it's like you're right there and you're opening
yourself to that person hey I think that you're beautiful and can I get your number. Actually
it was a year ago that I was in Thailand in a gym and this really impressed me so much because
there was a cute guy and a cute girl and actually it was the girl who went to the guy and said hey
I see you here very often do you mind if I get your number and we can go out for a coffee and
he said yes of course I don't know if that followed up correctly but look woman can also ask for a
guy's number but I give so much respect to that even if it follows through or not it's also a
good social skill to kind of exercise. Okay well let me put you on the spot then so if you're if
you are on tinder or one of these bumble you see a guy that you're not so interested in he's okay
he's like maybe a six or seven and you're not interested in him on the app but then he comes
up to you in real life and asks you on a date would you treat him differently because he
he done the you know the ballsy thing to do that or would you still just say you're not interested?
I think that I will still say that I'm not interested because even though I praise his
courage and his move I don't want to lead him on if I'm not really interested you know I'm kind of
doing something bad for him even if down the line like let's say that we go out for a month or two
but deep down I know I'm not interested so I'm kind of wasting his time and my time so I think
that you know in your gut if you're interested or not you know what I mean? But what if what if
his profile picture is just okay but he actually makes you laugh or he has a nice way about him?
That's different because I think personality has so much to say like of course a guy can be
whatever physically even if you are not you know when it happens that sometimes you're not
physically attracted to the person and then once you get to know the person you're like wow I really
like him or her it's because the personality kind of does the job and it has to be like
a 50-50 right like also in attraction in terms of personality and in terms of physics.
Yeah also in the profile picture you don't know for example they have a nice booty or not
but maybe that's the thing that pushes you over the edge. But also sometimes it's like
the guys don't know how to pick the pictures for their profiles for their dating profiles and I'm
not like against dating apps at all like I think that it puts out a net further out but it's like
it's like AI nowadays it's like a tool that you can use but use it wisely and then you'll get
good results and some guys I see on dating apps that they just don't know have the know-how on
how to pick like good profile pictures you know to show who you are and it's like look this is the
my better side of the face you know. Awesome okay what's your go-to move to keep a boring date
interesting? Well I think that's not only my job to keep a boring date interesting it's also the
other person's and sometimes if it's not flowing then it's not flowing. So what do you do?
I try to make questions to the person kind of get the conversation going sometimes it just doesn't
flow and it can also be out of being you know a little bit reserved or a little bit even nervous
you can feel that the person maybe hasn't been on a date in a few months or has been in a very
long-term relationship for a long time so they're kind of feeling awkward about even going on a date
it's like oh my god I forgot how to do this but I think it's all in gut feeling like and also maybe
give this person a second chance if it wasn't like terrible maybe in the second date it will be
much more relaxed much better so yeah definitely go with that gut feeling. Awesome that's so nice
thanks so much for having a chat with us and yeah basically being honest it's super
interesting to hear these days we all have our you know ideas of what dating is like and what
girls think but it's so cool to just have you here and chat with you about this type of stuff
thank you it's a pleasure
