My Trip to Antarctica

In late November, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to journey to the end of the world - Antarctica. This is what I saw.

Part 1 encompasses the first two and half days of our 10-day expedition. As we leave the safe harbor of Ushuaia, Argentina, we make our down the mountainous Beagle Channel at sunset.

Our next two days we experience the tumultuous waters of the Drake Passage accompanied by some of the world's biggest birds. We also come across a tabular iceberg as the waves hit their peak.

And finally, we reach the white continent itself .
