OUR FIRST WEEK LIVING IN OUR NEW HOUSE *huge update*

What is good, Bible Squad? Welcome back to our channel. It feels good saying that in the new house. It does. It's insane that we're already moved in. We're already here and we have a lot to show you. You see the title in today's video. And what? We do have to talk about that though. Oh, the title? So, I know we said we were going to vlog our first night living here. About a week ago we said we were going to do our first night vlog. Tell me how. We forgot to pull the camera off. You know what? We were doing a lot that day, Maya. We were moving. Guys, there was so much going on. We had commotion in the house. Dude, we were putting up bed frames. Putting up stands and everything. I'm not kidding. It was so busy. The next day I go to Bill. No, you didn't. You little liar. I actually was putting in some effort. The next morning I'm like, oh my God. I totally lost track of time. I didn't have my phone on me all day. The next morning I said, baby, we didn't film the first night. We woke up and we're like, what are we doing? But we have an excuse. Instead, we're going to show you guys what we've done this past week. We're going to make it up to you by doing a video that we were never going to do. A week update video. And today marks one week that we've been living in this house. And today is 4th of July. So if you do celebrate it, happy 4th of July. Please stay safe. We don't need any of our Marvel family. Nothing happened to y'all. Please stay safe. We will stay safe as well. You guys can already kind of see a little bit. There's a lot going on in this house that you did not see in the last video. Comparing this to last video. Our last video was boring. Our house was empty. No, it was sick. The emptiness was so beautiful as it is. It was. What I mean by that is it's so much better with furniture. That's what I'm saying. This is kind of like a pre-furnished house story. Because the house isn't fully furnished. We still need a lot of stuff. We have to hang a lot of stuff. But I do want to shout out every single one of y'all. And we tried to like as many comments as we could. We still have a lot of comments that we need to get to. But we literally were hearting all of your comments in the last video. We genuinely appreciate how much support y'all have been giving us on this house. And all of the nice comments. Like literally there's hundreds and hundreds of comments on our last house tour video. About how amazing the house is. And what you guys love about it. And we genuinely appreciate it. We genuinely do appreciate y'all. So I just wanted to sit back and say that before we start this video. And reading them really made my night. I absolutely love that you guys are excited. Just as much as we are. And it means the absolute world to us. None of this would be possible without you guys. And we know that. We fully know that. And I don't want you to think. We're not just like this couple on camera that doesn't know any of y'all. We genuinely do read your comments. And we want you to know that you don't go unnoticed. You. So two days ago we got our couch. Two days ago? When they're seeing this video. Oh yeah yeah yeah. I was going to say yesterday we got our couch. We got our couch on Tuesday. Why don't we sit on the couch while we say this. Look at this thing. Oh my gosh. We need to break it in a little bit. It's so nice. I love how it just blends. We did really good on our carpet. You picked out the couch. Which thumbs up to you. I think I picked out the rug. No we both saw it. I think I picked out the rug. You saw the video. So who picked out the rug. Because we filmed that. Yeah you did build that. Shout out to my sister and Mariah for building this table. They did such an amazing job. You are now a handy woman. Welcome to the club. And we tried doing the bed frame which we'll show you guys in. But the boys had to come in and help. They failed on the bed frame. But that was definitely not a beginner thing to do. It was like semi intermediate for building. But I want to give you guys also an update on our cats. So when they first got here. They were obviously nervous. And Snap and Winnie actually. Those are the sissies in the house. Those are the two sissies. They were out and about roaming. And I was really shocked. Thor and Scar. Thor came out within the next day or two. Scar it's been taking him a minute. His tail is still down. Almost a week. He's been slowly coming out. Scar is the type of dude. That will literally be out in every room. He doesn't care about noise, sound, people. He's there. He's like our watch cat. I know. Now he's the one that's just hidden in the closet. It's also going to make you sad. He's in the closet because he's attaching on to our scent. From our old house. We suspect because all of our suitcases. And all of our clothing. We haven't washed in this house. They're all washed and scented in our last house. So that's the only spot that really has the scent. From our old house. All four of them. We'll find all four of them sleeping in the closet sometimes. Thor and Snap have been the best. Winnie has been awesome now. Scar needs to come around. His tail is still kind of down once in a while. We've got stuff for blinds. Rubbing up on the guy. I think it makes it better. Us sleeping in the room and locking them out. Because they have the whole house to roam. It kind of forces him to get used to the environment. Enough talk about our cats. Let's go show you the kitchen. Do you want to show them this really quick? Oh yeah. Shout out to Sod. He actually gave us our first Cos figure set. Which we've been wanting Cos figures forever. He got us into it for our wedding gift. And look at how sick they are. We just posted them up and they look insane. I like them there. Mariah got me that for my birthday. That's what it was. Mariah got me this one for my birthday. And then we've been watching the new Squid Games. I don't know if y'all have. But we have the Cos Squid Games. You can't buy this right now. Unless you go on StockX. Me, Jules, Sod, and Bill were all online at the same time. Bought it right when it dropped. We bought it at the retail price. We didn't buy it from a reseller on StockX. We bought it from the actual Cos website. During the drop. We actually got two of them. Let me show you guys what this is looking like. Obviously we're going to play around. We're just kind of putting stuff in spots. Plants up, greenery. Seeing what we like. It's not fully furnished. We're still getting our vision in here. Trying to see if we should put stuff. On to our bedroom. The last time y'all saw this. Unless you watched our short content on TikTok. You haven't seen anything in here. Look at our flipping bedroom. Remember it's still dirty. We got our bed set up. We got our rug in. Man, it looks so good. This bed lifts up. It's a storage. No force even needed. This whole thing. A little force needed. My suitcase is on it too. You get a whole storage bin. You can put whatever you want. I'm going to close it because Scar is about to jump in there. I don't want to fish him out. You can fit so many pillows and blankets. I built our nightstands. We got some blinds up. These are temporary. We're going to get automatic roll down blinds. Those are coming from our blind guy. He just measured for all the blinds today. It's going to take 4-6 weeks. We have cardboard up on the windows at night. Stuff like that. To have some darkness. Block out the view. Mariah, I know you don't want to show them our closets. I do know you want to show them something in the bathroom. The closets. Are you ready for this? This is probably our favorite part of the entire bathroom. It was because of me. You had a bunch of other guys helping you too. It wasn't just you. You did. Ready? 3-2-1 Oh my gosh. Look at this mirror. It changes colors. This is what we wanted to show y'all. Oh my gosh. We are so excited. This mirror is the best night light you can have. It just does that. I can turn on the lights now. Honestly, the mirror made the bathroom look so much bigger. So much more grand and better. Oh my gosh. I love it. I'm obsessed. Originally, what I wanted was two circle mirrors. We wanted to do the separate mirrors. I was shopping for those separate mirrors. Then I came across one with lights in it. I'm like, wait. I wonder if they have a bigger version. This is a 95 inch mirror. It's freaking huge. It's heavy. It took four guys to put this thing up. This is luxury. I love it. It's funny because it's literally just a mirror. It adds so much character to the bathroom. Get ready for videos. I cannot wait to do pranks in here. I can't wait. We needed a good bathroom to film in. We do a lot of videos within a bathroom. All aspects of the house. Our old house was limited. This has lighting. It looks fire in here. Watch how bright this light is. Last night, I had this light on. We haven't just turned this light on. She doesn't even know what light switch it is. This is lighting for a normal bathroom. Then you have this on too. Look at this. Oh my gosh. I love it. I might have picked out the mirrors. I can admit when Mariah did something good. Did I not admit that you did good? In the mirrors, yes. I told you that many times. Mariah picked out these chairs. We absolutely love them. Look at how nice. They are nice and plush. I don't know what you would call them. Sherpa? They are so comfy. They are all washable. You can take them off and clean them. Do all that. You can get stains on them. These are almost white. They are creamy white. They are going to get stained up eventually. This feels good. I love these chairs. Do some work, eat some food. They go along with all of the furniture. The color scheme. I feel like we ate it. We killed it. Even the little things in this house. The accent wall, the colors, the flooring. Everything came together. We didn't do any changes. We picked the colors and that was it. We did good. We got lucky. Team Marvel. Nothing has really changed in the kitchen. Except for the fact that we hooked up all of the Wi-Fi to all of the appliances. Everything runs on Wi-Fi. We can check the fridge, the oven, everything from our phone. All of the new appliances these days. It's so crazy because they all connect to Wi-Fi. I can literally control our microwave and oven from my phone. I can add 30 seconds to the microwave. It's weird. It's crazy. I'm here for it. I like it. Before I do that, I want to show them. Mariah, can you please step in the pantry and show what we got going on in there? Bill did this. I'm a handyman, y'all. Are you ready for this? Y'all just have to let it happen. If you didn't know. We got motion detection lights. That's what I wanted to show you. For those of you that are new and you're just seeing this video for the first time, this is our secret pantry. It looks like a normal doorway, but it actually is a full room. What I mean by that is it looks like it would end at this wall. It wouldn't go in deep, but then you actually look in here and it's just like, boom, it's a room. Also, these are motion detected lights so when you come in here... Oh, we have a washer and dryer. We forgot to show you. We have our washer and dryer now. We just set it up and we've used it a couple times. Absolutely awesome. We've never done this before, but I've always dreamt of having a tall stack washer and dryer. Now, when you put the bin, Mariah, it falls into the bin. You don't have to pick it up and put it in the bin because we got these things on the bottom and it actually lifts up the washer and dryer to make it taller. Yeah, I love it. When does a husband get excited to pick out a washer and dryer? You know what I mean? I was so excited to do that. And that hooks up to your phone too. Those hooked up to my phone too so I can literally start, stop. It's funny because it hooks up to our TV and when the dryer and washer is done, a notification goes on our TV so if we're watching, we're on Squid Games or Love Island or whatever we're watching, it'll literally pop up and say, oh, your dryer just finished. My vanity room, I have a whole desk for my gaming setup and stuff like that for my coloring book business. That comes in tomorrow actually so we gotta build that. I'll build it. I actually really enjoy building. If you wanna build it, then go for it. This is what I have so far. I'm gonna move stuff around, reorganize but I have my vanity and stuff in here right now. It's a clutter mess. There's a lot of clutter. There's a lot of clutter, there's a lot of mess but I'm in the process of organizing and once I get this desk that's gonna go alongside the other wall. So it's gonna be right around here? Yeah. I'll be able to organize. I'm probably gonna move this stand and I put it right here. Yeah, and just kind of get all the clutter out. It's kind of cluttered. And then we also have the cat box. So this is like her vanity room slash book selling packing room. So her coloring book, she's gonna be packing all the orders in here or we are and then cat room. This closet is absolutely huge for a guest room. We were able to fit both litter boxes and they have room to play and run around and keep all the cat supplies in here. Yeah, and I like it. It's more tucked away. I feel like last house it was just in that closet and it was still out. Yeah, it was like right there. Now we can literally like if we wanted to crack the door and it could just be a strict cat room which I think this should just be our cat room from now on. A hundred percent. Little update on Snap. I know we haven't mentioned anything but he had a little bit of like gingivitis when we went to the veterinarian the other day and actually last month. So we were like oh let's get some cream. Well randomly two days ago I decided to check how it was doing because we haven't put any cream on it yet and I noticed one of his teeth literally is hanging on by a thread. I don't know if he smacked himself in the face. Is it still there? It's definitely not from gingivitis. It's for some reason his tooth like dislodged and like the roots of his teeth you can see like the tooth's almost about to fall out. We have a vet appointment at 10am tomorrow. So I'm telling you by this time tomorrow they're going to pull it. You can't fix it. I promise you you can't. No, it'll be fine. It's like losing a tooth. I'm sure the pain I know but I'm sure the pain's already passed because of how far it's out. It's hanging on by a thread. So we'll give you an update on that next time but it is sad but he's going to figure it out and honestly I'd rather them pull it rather than him swallow it and you know who knows what would happen but that's a little update on SnapPool what's going on right now. Mariah, why don't we have a mirror in our guest bathroom right now? What happened? Let me explain that in a second. Before we get into that we do have our guest room right now kind of set up a little bit. Yeah, a little guest room. It's not done yet. We've got stuff we've got to do here. It's working on it. We keep the store closed so if you are allergic to cats Yeah, no cats can go in there and it'll be a clean room. So the mirror was in here this morning. This is the TV box we use it for, you know, inside of the blinds right now but the mirror was in here. I was just about to hook it up I literally put the mount so you could see the mount on the wall and then I'm like, hey babe, can you help me lift it up? I lift up one end this much Mariah lifted up the other end really quick we both didn't drop it but by her lifting up her end my corner, since it was so low hit the floor hard enough to shatter the entire mirror and we're gonna go show you the mirror right now look at this thing. It is completely shattered I'm not even messing around right now. This happened all day today this is supposed to this is not supposed to look like that it kind of looks sick it looks really cool what should we do with this? if y'all have any ideas what we should do with this let me know because it still has all the lights around it like it plugs in. It's the same exact mirror just a little smaller than our master bedroom and it looks so cool right now but like obviously you can't really do anything with it because it's a shattered mirror and you wanted to blame me I just wanted to be cute and put it up together well listen, you're the handyman you should have told your wife, hey, lift slow because you were lifting slow and you said do it two at once that's why I'm not blaming you but you can't blame me too. You lifted it at a different speed and by you lifting it, hit the corner it's not your fault, but it's unfortunate that it worked out like that snap, you better get inside right now look at him, he's daring, he doesn't care this is an update on the garbage you know when you move into a house and you have so much cardboard we have so much garbage but it's going to be taken out it'll be fine this is my office welcome we have it messy right now it's getting worked on like I said we don't have blinds so this is our makeshift blinds right now but we have so much that we have to kind of still organize we have the main room pretty clear, we have all our other rooms little by little, we're getting it all moved in this is the mini fridge that our house came with that other mini fridge that we got, I actually replaced it because we bought one, we didn't know our house came with one we have a nice new mini fridge that I literally had for over a month because I didn't think our house was going to come with one and then one showed up so we don't know what to do with this yet but this is kind of like my office I want you to put your desk here but I don't know if I want this we're figuring it out like right here I want to make a book shelf wall I told you all this in the last video I literally want to deck out this room but this is the last priority right now the priority right now is getting the main room situated everything hung, the TV's up the big stuff because we have all this clutter everywhere and we kind of want to minimize it this is like the only clean spot in our house look how clean this is right now which I'm glad that this is the cleanest spot I think I just pulled something I'm sitting down hold the camera you're doing this on purpose I think I pulled something in my chest you're doing all this because you didn't want to hold the camera I swear on everything I pulled something right here I'm going to be having a bruise later or something a bruise? I pulled a muscle? can you kiss it? thank you if I could get down but you're laying on me right now I don't want to ask you to get up because you pulled your chest oh my gosh all in all y'all this feels absolutely amazing being in this house words can't describe how we've been feeling the past nights it's surreal first we felt like we were in an airbnb it feels crazy because we literally built this it's not a house that we tore this is our vision we customized every aspect it's our vision it all came to life it felt like it was never going to happen so I'm glad that it's finally here because now that we're in we don't have the anxiety of the build up anymore and it feels so good just to relax like I said there's a lot to do but it's so much better that we're in here we're able to do it now and we don't have to sit and wait like we have in the past 10 months of building but I hope you guys enjoyed today's video and I'm really grateful for all your sweet comments on our last video thank you all for being a part of our life and just being able to be here with us we genuinely appreciate it so much get ready for all the content in this house it's going to go crazy that is the main thing the content in this house is going to be insane we've already been planning out videos and it's been so much fun doing this in a different area that we can just have new memories and make good times but we love you guys so much and we'll see you in the next video but until then peace love you guys
