Perched on a mountain slope within a maple forest, the house maximizes natural light and panoramic views through extensive glass windows and a strategic east-west orientation. The design emphasizes openness with a sunken sofa, a minimalist kitchen, and efficient storage solutions. Wooden elements dominate both the interior and exterior, enhancing its connection to nature. The structure optimizes solar energy while preventing overheating, ensuring comfort throughout the seasons. Featuring a Japanese kotatsu-inspired living area, a multifunctional bedroom with a built-in desk and bathtub, and two terraces, the house fosters a harmonious blend of functionality and tranquility.
