SKIING TO THE BEAT | Want to ski with rhythm?

Just Skiing
Just Skiing

PERISHER VALLEY
Have you ever watched a skier make their way down the slope with immaculate, rhythmical turns?
Keeping a great rhythm is the foundation of many different skills in skiing, including powder and moguls. Plus, it will really help you iron out your style and technique.

In this video, Tom Gellie skis with Carv’s Metronome Challenge.
This mode challenges skiers to keep to the beat. You set the pace in your first few turns, then Carv will measure your accuracy to the beat as you ski.

Why is this real-time feedback useful?
In Tom’s words,
“Rhythm has been shown to be a really good performance-enhancing tool. If you have something to focus on like a rhythm, all the movements you make in skiing will be directed towards achieving that. It’s been shown that these kinds of forces outperform thinking about your feet and your legs ”

The Metronome Challenge is just one of many real-time skiing challenges that Carv skiers can use to take their skiing to the next level.
Think you can get to 99% accuracy like Tom can?
