In a few hours, the Springfield skyline
will look just like that. Thousands
expected to fill Riverfront Park to
watch the fireworks off the memorial
bridge. We brought in enough technicians
this year. We've got 170 years combined
experience on this bridge right now. Our
technicians will be working over 30
hours straight to get this production on
for you. The Spirit of Springfield has
put on the event annually since 1991.
Star Spangled Springfield giving people
a reason to celebrate. A reminder from
officials this holiday. Leave it to the
professionals. More than 550 fires and
explosions involving illegal fireworks
happened between 2020 and last year, and
only licensed professionals are allowed
to use fireworks in Massachusetts. We
had a staging crew for the staging. We
have uh five technicians, the DPW
workers. They help us out. They're
they're very they're awesome. working
for you. Victoria Buddy, 22 News.
