A Day at Windcliff | Dan Hinkley’s Garden is Pure Magic ✨🌿🌼

Join me for a truly special day at Windcliff, the private garden and home of renowned plantsman, plant collector, and nurseryman Dan Hinkley! Perched above Puget Sound, this extraordinary property is a dream for plant lovers—a place where Dan’s incredible eye for form, texture, and color is on full display.

It was the perfect escape from the city. Wandering through Windcliff felt like a deep breath of inspiration and gratitude—one of those days you want to bottle up and keep forever. Every turn in the garden revealed something beautiful, unexpected, and deeply personal.

Of course, no visit would be complete without a stop at the backyard nursery (yes, really!), where I picked up a few unique treasures to bring home. These special plants will be finding a home in the new back border of my garden, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
