FIRST TIME HEARING | Petr Sarancha (Helium) | TRAPDOORBOOM | REACTION #musicreaction

Hi I'm Brad and I'm John. This was a request. A request which has actually probably spawned what's going to be next week's video as well. When I went to this person's channel to actually grab this video I saw at least one more that I want to do as well. Probably several but you know it was kind of like right there and it's like oh I should no no do the request first Jonathan yes anyway so this is a beatboxer by the name of Helium although oddly enough he's actually starting to go by his actual name now because he's changed his channel to be his actual name as opposed to his beatbox stage name I guess. Yeah let's go with that. So he's actually going by his real name now which is Petter Peter I probably butchered it sorry Helium sounds a lot easier to sorry not sorry you should have stuck with Helium it's easier to say anyway before us now people are going to have to say they know how to say it then we probably could might be Russian not a hundred percent sure um didn't pay attention so if he's not I apologize let us know below yes let us know down below the name the spelling of the name does kind of imply anyway this song is called trap door boom trap door boom okay all one word trap door boom yes all right I tried to say it as one thing together and it failed miserably so anyway all right well check it out before we do make sure you get that like subscribe you can check out the description down below you're going to find all our links information and stuff that we have down there that looks familiar was the um no not he might have done stuff with bartend actually now now that I think of it he might one of the members of that group okay hey anyway great um what was I going to say oh um somebody did actually say on the last one that we did this it's basically it's not done by layering tracks it's literally done him with a mic what has happened um this is actually the recent version of this he did one several years ago as well this one and the one we listened to last week um it's had some post processing work done on it so for example this one what has been added is like the echo and the reverb on some of his notes that has been added after the fact but other than that he's literally basically as if he walked up on stage doing this live yeah in effect yeah that's just like every time I hear anyone doing that and then the one time I was making with his uh his lips I mean that would be like making my lips numb tickle well like numb and like tickle I would be like I wouldn't be able to do anything else I was actually thinking pretty much the same thing it's kind of like I might be able to do that but my whole mouth would go numb and then they go literally I'm sure that's exactly what would happen if I tried to do it I mean just like I said in all the other ones it's amazing how anyone can do that yeah and they get a lot of training practice and dedication yeah and honestly there's probably a certain amount of screwing around as well yeah that's true just trying to figure out just literally sitting there it's kind of like so what did you do last night well basically I was sitting around kind of like going oh I can do this yeah and I'm sure that's a little you know just you know experimental screwing around I'm sure that's how some of these techniques are born and somebody had actually said it in one of the comments and I agree with them I like the fact that you know in these beatbox world championships battles and stuff like that there has been kind of a move now towards compositions such as this where it's actually kind of like a cohesive piece of music that you can you know stop and listen to whereas the early stuff in the beatbox battles things like that it was all basically a case of okay you've got you know 30 seconds get up on stage and blast as many different possible techniques as you can think of for points kind of thing whereas it's it's started to become a lot more kind of like okay so you can do this this and this but what can you do with it right yeah and and that's where things like this are really cool because it's kind of like it's it's you know it's a cohesive thing that you can just you know stick on your phone and you know add it to your list of music listens yeah yeah that's I mean it definitely just gets you in that I totally like different type of mood yeah listen to it be like because most of it's making you and because I know I'm going to do it here in the near future I'm pretty sure it's oh what's the name of the song I want to say it's take me to church I could be wrong on that but he's actually got the cover of a song that he did I could I might have just gotten the name of the song so no promises on that I guess I could have actually looked because I think I have it safe but I'm not going to because I'll probably screw this up um but yeah it's it's a song that you know we've reacted to several times before by other artists and stuff but to hear it done in a beatbox kind of way no we've never done anything like that so yeah that'll be that'll be upcoming yeah that'll be interesting to see so if you're gonna see it make sure you get that like subscribe you can comment suggestions down below and if you hit the notification bell then YouTube will do the thing where it tells you when we do the suggestions that you commented down below at least that's the theory and then there's like three different ways that notifications work now and yeah most of them don't so whatever so until then thanks for watching
