Do you like this style of presentation of the teams?
I think we're probably getting used to it as much as the players themselves are getting used to this
individualistic recognition and while it looks different and it feels different still has the
same pomp and circumstance to a match that's as deserving as Inter Miami and FC Porto.
FC Porto has 30 league titles, seven major international trophies including
two champion leagues of course here's Alan Varela who plays for Inter Miami.
Here we go Busquets, Segovia, Ian Frey, Chelo Wingand, Sergio Busquets, Cremaschi.
That was not a good pass back they have to be careful on the way they handled it.
I thought Samu was slow to get back I know he slipped but then I think he touched
his leg. Leo Messi's first ball in Suarez good reaction from Suarez.
Oh and always the first few minutes of a match Lionel Messi just starts to scan the field.
You can see here with two win backs and they always play out of the bag we will see if Messi
and Suarez pressure the ball each time they come out from their own substitute goalkeeper Diego
Costa got injured in international duty at the nation's league and that is a clear penalty to me.
Ojoal Mario just two minutes into the match against Palmeiras no hesitation well now we're
going to see some hesitation here we go. Wait a second then they got the ball in play yeah
it seemed as if they had bypassed the opportunity by allowing that throw-in to happen
here's the touch and it doesn't look good for Noah Allen dangles a leg catches the top of the left
laces and any touch whatsoever for Ojoal Mario pulls up the landing gear goes to ground referee
in real time not having any of it but right there conclusive evidence that the bottom of the studs
touch on the top of the laces of the outside right back. After all the review the number
32 commit foul with tripping final decision is penalty kick.
The number one if not for his injuries and here is Samu against Oscar Ustadi.
For FC Porto Ustadi got a handle on it here's the soft to my liking very soft
VAR it's a VAR penalty let's call it that way and Samu makes it good. Ustadi guesses the correct
way gets a touch not enough to push it. Porto gets it away and they give it away to Messi and
he's got Suarez here comes Leo to Suarez Suarez Claudio Ramos both of these goalkeepers in the
previous matches respectively monster performances Ramos once again off his line perfectly timed ball
well weighted two big breakdowns that Inter Miami has not been able to capitalize on Suarez
five years ago that would have been a goal
Mora it's off Kramatsky and it's Porto's ball well I think in an ideal world
and here comes Miami to Suarez he lets him go for Kramatsky Kramatsky
and another incredible save by Claudio Ramos and what a save by Claudio Ramos that's a great
idea from Luis Suarez to dummy that ball from Noah Allen it was going to be difficult for him
to get a clean touch and allows Ben Segovia Vega to try to take a clean touch not the best
but he gets his shot off and it was almost if Claudio Ramos had started leaning early as that
might have caught him just a bit
or unnecessarily taken great spin and the clearance from Falcone protecting the shoulder
of his goalkeeper is brilliant great spin from Rodrigo Mora and if not for Falcone
FC Porto has found their second goal of the match bad bad for Messi Mora here's Samu
one against two here goes Samu Samu Ustadi what a save from Oscar Ustadi this is what we talked
about at the beginning of the game a year ago every team around the world that was in search
for a number nine had the name Mora Samu Mora Varela and another miraculous save it could have
gone off his back into the net after he hit the post watch the reaction how quickly Ustadi comes
Telasco Segovia what a run what a combination between Allende and Wingans
and the young Venezuelan ties the match in Atlanta quick little shimmy of the feet from
Sergio Busquets Chelo recognizes he's got a numbers up situation Allende slows himself down
he's 1v1 with Mora, Chelo makes the run, Wingans, Kremasky, Segovia all alone in the left
Messi Busquets pushed by the youngster Rodrigo Mora I believe it's too far for Messi's range
but you never know remember Liverpool I think we all do a shake of the hips once again from
Sergio Busquets Mora tries everything to get the toe poke and now Lionel Messi standing over the
ball a constant threat in any decision he makes from any distance while standing over a set piece
opportunity Claudio Ramos I think signals for two in the wall Messi Ramos thought he was too far
you can see the idea up and over the wall gets the dip just a little bit too much curl
Kremasky he will be into Miami's ball and how quickly things change around now
into Miami in possession of the ball the psychological momentum swung their way
and they look like the better team that's the start exactly how they needed to for this second
45 minutes but now how do they find the balance Messi chased by Vega Kremasky Busquets Messi
Segovia Allen making the run Messi wants it back Messi Suarez the ref does call for a free kick
and this will be Leo Messi's time a four-man wall to stop Leo Messi it's Messi time
Messi Messi yes the best in the world two one oh is there anyone else in the world that's as
consistent from this distance as Lionel Messi as simple as a tap in 20 yards out Suarez
Kremasky the foul on Borges by Noah Allen and I think Brian they moved Kremasky to the left
leaving Redondo to the right of Busquets it seems as though that's been the more comfortable
position for him off that right shoulder of Sergio Busquets and understanding
Allende has a responsibility of tracking but that freedom in the pocket to push forward
when possessions coming down this left-hand side
Javier Mascherano gonna have to lean into the work rate the engine of Benjamin Kremasky
Borges William Gomes ready to make it onto the pitch Marcano Borges
the ball to the far post Ustadi got a hand on it that's important if the ball was
clear by Aviles Messi Aviles Fabio Vieira Borges on that side Moura Moura Samu this close
to tying the game it will be interval Noah Allen would slide over to the right back position with
Jordi Alba coming in instead it's Benjamin Kremasky lost it Fabio Vieira well he will say
one day to his grandkids I not make Messi and then I directly kick the ball out of balance
Messi's laughing at him Allen Suarez Busquets Pico Fafa Fafa Guts
Claudio Ramos what a performance to watch the finger pointing of Luis Suarez what a ball
from Sergio Busquets deflected by the defender Otavio
Fafa Pico trying to earn the right to be and it will be Jordi Alba to take
and the ref signals the end of the match enter Miami and a crucial win in their second game
