The festival is about to begin and meanwhile enjoy the variety of ballerinas and costumes. I suppose that is the queen of learning because she is dressing on and her hair is and she is the heart the symbol of the festival. Here comes the presentation of various folk groups from different countries. First the Belarusian folk groups, then the Russian folk groups and last but not least the Ukrainian ones. And now the groups start imitating the merry-go-round because the festival actually is called the line and merry-go-round. That is my lovely godmother who's trying to demonstrate how in very old times a woman could iron clothes because there was no iron of course and all they needed was the roller and the ribble which doesn't have an equivalent in English. I suppose it is a century-old spinning wheel. It is the technique of weaving. I suppose she is weaving a belt or something like this. Here you can also find many yards which are decorated with Belarusian traditional dances, extremely beautiful handbrakes. Here you can also find rows of handmade products which you can buy which are very nice, beautiful and full of creativity.
