Our Unwritten Soul is nearing its end, with only two episodes left.
However, the ending of the last episode left viewers anxious about how it would end,
especially with Hosu losing his hearing in his only good ear.
Can Hosu and Miji ever catch a break? It seems most of the misfortune is stacked against them.
What's more, both Mirei and Miji are missing.
Meanwhile, Seijin indirectly asks Mirei to go with him to the States.
Judging by the twins' lives, one could argue that Miji has always drawn the short straw,
from her sister receiving more attention from their parents due to her illness,
to Miji living her life caring for her grandmother and mother, never venturing
into self-discovery, after losing the one thing that used to matter most to her, running.
Stepping into Mirei's shoes opened her to self-discovery and other opportunities.
As Hosu said, getting her mother's assurance, that she'd be okay without her, finally relieved her.
Now, she's starting to find herself, with her first love by her side,
just for life to happen once again.
If Hosu ends up losing his hearing, it will pose yet another obstacle they'll have to overcome.
Hosu has always feared being a burden to others, which could impact his relationship with Miji,
given his current situation. If you noticed, he couldn't tell his mother that he had a cold,
despite her observation. He also couldn't confide in Miji,
which led her to think she'd done something wrong.
He struggles to open up. Even in this situation,
he couldn't confide in her when she asked if something was wrong,
instead, he lied about receiving a call. So this is sure to be challenging for them.
Miji has to work overtime to convince him that it doesn't matter to her.
However, he might have thought not to worry her, but instead, he sought professional help.
Yet, he can be seen avoiding her in the preview for the next episode.
Thankfully, he can already rid lips, which might eventually come in handy.
Meanwhile, when you look at Mirei's life amid the current turn of events,
you might think she's getting the better end of the deal.
But that's not the case. Miji's strength in love language is acts of service.
She finds joy in knowing that she's needed, and doesn't mind taking care of those she loves.
Nature also gifted her with the strength to do this from birth.
On the other hand, Mirei has been ill since birth, and she has no interest in the lives of others,
as she already has a lot going on in hers. This might come off as self-centered,
but this is her way of surviving. So I would say they found their perfect match,
Hosu with Miji, whose love language is acts of service, and Mirei with Sejin,
who's strong and can protect her while also being gentle.
Meanwhile, Mirei is finally standing up for herself.
It's astonishing the lengths Sangyoung is willing to go to cover his lies.
This whole situation is a lesson in itself. It teaches viewers not to excuse bad behavior.
Mirei decided to forgive Sangyoung, as she doesn't want to escalate the issue,
given that she's already being bullied at work.
She took his word for it, believing it was just a drunken mistake.
However, not trusting her forgiveness, the slimy Sangyoung had to make her the oppressor.
Now, she's not only pressing charges, but also standing up for herself.
Her co-workers are beginning to question everything.
She also intends to reveal the corruption occurring in the company.
Now that she has her resignation letter handy,
she's ready to seek justice with no intention of backing down.
What's more, Sejin is quite the romantic. When wooing Mirei with his sports car didn't work,
he decided to show her that she could achieve success outside her current job.
This is why he took her to meet his friends, who are thriving outside their previous jobs.
He was smooth in asking her to go with him to the States.
Meanwhile, Sangwool's story is heartbreaking.
She loved her friend Rosa so much that she took the blame for the murder.
Fortunately, she finally found people who could read her.
I must say I was a bit frustrated with her when she refused help from Miji after cutting her off.
What's more, Ok Hui and Bunhong's relationship is delightful to see.
They'll make great in-laws. Ok Hui is finally understanding her mother for the first time.
It's sad that she thought her mother hated her.
We could tell that her mother loves and worries about her
when she called late at night after hearing about her injury.
Meanwhile, Chunggu pulled a fast one by publicly exposing Rosa's past.
However, his question to Ho Su makes sense.
Rosa is not exempt from prosecution just because she has no family and isn't wealthy.
She deserves to face justice if she committed a crime.
You can see his genuine concern for Ho Su and the impact of Ho Su's disappointment on him.
They might end up working together in the end.
Meanwhile, Mirae gives Sejin an answer to his offer to travel to the States with him.
She decides to stay behind to fight through her struggles.
This could either lead to Sejin leaving without her or deciding not to go because of her.
However, given how the Fair Trade Commission is investigating the company in the preview,
it suggests she will succeed in her fight for justice, potentially with Ho Su's help.
I wonder what will happen to their strawberry farm in the end.
They both are bigger than De Sanri and have much to accomplish,
but they might end up calling De Sanri home after all.
Meanwhile, Bun Hong told Ok Hui that she still had a chance with her mother,
as she's still alive. But from the preview, it seems they're running out of time.
This might finally be a time of healing for both mother and daughter.
What's more, Mi Ji and Ho Su will face their last challenge.
After leaving Mi Ji with the cake, Ho Su visits a doctor to find out what's wrong with his ear.
Seeing his anguish, it can't be good news, as he can do nothing while losing his hearing.
Worried about how he left, Mi Ji visits him with the cake, but he turns her away,
as he doesn't want to worry her, but ends up having the opposite effect.
He slides down his door after pushing her away, suffering alone in the dark.
It's sad this is happening after Mi Ji's lucky dream.
How cute is she while narrating her dream?
How do you think it will end?
