Lord, Teach Me to Pray for Those Who Hurt Me | Morning Prayer
📖 “Do not take revenge… but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” — Romans 12, verse 19
✨ You were never meant to carry the weight of vengeance.
Not every wound is yours to heal. Not every wrong is yours to make right. In a world quick to retaliate, God calls you to something deeper—something holier.
✅ Let go of the need to be understood
✅ Release the burden of revenge
✅ Trust that God sees, God knows, and God will make it right
💡 Forgiveness doesn’t mean the pain didn’t matter—it means you’ve chosen freedom over bitterness, peace over pride. And love? Real love? It’s not weakness. It’s power. It’s healing. It’s holy.
In this powerful reflection, we explore what it means to let go of offense, walk in grace, and love like Jesus—even when it’s hard. Because the world may say “fight back,” but Jesus says, “forgive.” And when you follow His way, you don’t lose—you live free.
🙏 Let’s pray together—asking God to soften our hearts, purify our motives, and help us love even when it’s difficult.
💬 If this prayer has spoken to your heart, type ‘Amen’ in the comments as a sign of faith. Share your prayer requests—we would be honored to pray with you. May the Lord bless you and keep you always. 🙏
