In today's video, I'll take you on one of the most spectacular and adventurous ski descents in the Alps. On the official ski slope, which is marked in black. Le Tunnel in the French Alps, in the ski area of Alpe d'Huez. A total incline of 70% is required. But what exactly awaits us at the end of this tunnel, we'll only see when we're through. So first into the tunnel, about 100 meters long. Let's go! That alone makes it exciting. The tunnel, where you can already see the light at the end of the tunnel and where it really starts. Okay. That's impressive. And here you are at the rock face. And this is already one of the absolute key points. You see, it's tight here, it gets steep here. Some skiers and snowboarders are waiting to get in here. And we were here yesterday and in the afternoon, in particular, a very narrow lock opens up. Guys, if you dare to do this, get it out with skiing. Good skiing technique is required here. It also says at the entrance of the tunnel. But unfortunately we have already seen some not so good skiers here. Evaluate your technique well so that it stays safe. It is an officially and thus also secured ski slope, which makes it special. But the mountain watch was already in action yesterday and that doesn't have to be. This is already very intimidating when you stand here at the steep slope with the skis. On the camera, it sometimes doesn't come out as it is in reality. And now my heart is beating faster before I drop in here. Yesterday it was like this, that there was a whole queue of people here, at least 50 people, and waited until the people are through down here. Of course, that also makes the heart beat faster while waiting. You can see that some really have to fight there. And then, of course, you get nervous. That shouldn't happen as much as possible. Entering here with a certain degree of security is the most important thing. And we're doing that now. No more people are sitting down there. That means, even for my few, we're going in now. Okay, let's go. It's getting wider here now and, above all, bumpy, icy. That's what it's all about here now. It's really difficult to find a good line here. It's very undefined. There's a bump, then an ice plate, then the next bump. And you can see the exit here again. We drove in at the top. Very important for you, don't go in there at speed, because then the hard bumps start. Nice and moderate. And then look for the line. Then it works well and without a crash. Want to ski some bumps?
