I'm really a Jurassic Park nerd.
Don't see that every day.
Or ever.
Oh my gosh, so many pinch me moments on this movie.
I remember the first scene that we shot,
of course they threw us like right into
the most complicated set.
It was, you know, I'm not, these are no spoiler alerts,
but we end up, you know, this,
our huge research vessel ends up
kind of crash landing on the island.
And we shot on this very remote island in Thailand
where we had to take a boat to another boat
to an island to a boat to an island.
And we were on, when I walked down,
there was a mudslide and a six hour monsoon
and like all this craziness.
And by the time we got to the set,
you know, I walked down the little stairs
and we come out on this isolated beach.
And it's that moment that you have where you're like,
the John Williams music is going in your head.
I'm looking across at the other cast members.
We're all wearing like our, you know,
our tactical like suits and everything.
And I was like, this is really happening.
It was just tears in my eyes.
I couldn't believe it.
And we had so many moments like that.
If we get this DNA, millions of lives are saved.
Maybe we should make this quick, huh?
My family came to the set, which is great
because we actually had the opportunity to bring
a lot of the other actors have kids and, you know,
partners that were, spent a lot of time in Thailand
and Malta and even here in the UK.
So, yeah, we made a fun family vacation out of it.
And it was, you know, it's great.
We make our whole little kind of community
with the cast members.
Directing my husband?
I've never had to direct my husband really before.
Would I ever direct him?
Oh, my God. I mean, I guess I could.
No, I mean, I think directing a film of this size
and I don't know if you've already spoken
to Gareth Edwards, our amazing director.
You know, it is a humongous undertaking
because you were just, you know,
you have so much going on in your mind all at once.
And you have to you have to have an answer for every question.
So that would be more challenging, for sure.
