This Dog Chained In Freezing Cold For 4 Years – Now Watch When This Hero Rescues Him

[Music] Leigha million animals being abused or killed each year due to different forms of domestic violence animal rights groups like animal advocates is just one of the many nonprofit organizations that are working to fight against animal cruelty abused dogs can be saved and people need to know that diesel is one of the dogs that had to suffer cruelty for years this is his story diesel is a dog from Yukon he spent four years of his life chained up even during the harsh northern winter temperatures that could reach negative 40 degrees below zero luckily animal advocates found him but he's an absolutely horrifying condition the poor dog has been kicked in the face by a horse that broke his teeth and split his tongue diesel also suffered from a deep shoulder wound that was caused by another dog animal advocates shared a photo of his poor condition where you can clearly see dried blood and ice are stuck in his mangy fur that dog would sit well chained up trying to alternate between paws just to keep one warm at a time animal advocates revealed that Diesel's owner wanted to shoot him because they are already tired of taking care of the dog they didn't want him anymore so they'd rather have put him down it's clear that his owners are irresponsible and don't deserve death that's like diesel instead of being killed diesel was handed over to the advocates where he got proper care and treatment for his injuries he was in very poor condition and someone needs to take a look at him a few days later he was flown out of Yukon and was sent straight to a vet where he got the medical attention he so badly needed this is the start of his new life the vets neutered diesel they also removed a tumor from him after he spent some time in foster care diesel recovered from a wound and sad dog and is now happy and healthier the rescuers found out that diesel was a friendly dog in fact they call him a teddy bear because of his sweet personality like other rescue dogs diesel was shy to be around strangers at first especially other dogs but he soon warmed up to others he showed them that despite the abuse that he had to suffer for years he remained to be a sweet and loving dog animal advocates aim to save dogs like diesel every year they save dogs like him especially those who come from abusive owners who mistreat and hurt them they're truly amazing people who give these dogs another chance in life diesel is a living example that even abused dogs can have a happy and normal life that they deserve one rescued dog means one animal saved from abuse and cruelty like diesel everyone's hoping that his story would also inspire others to do the same people are thankful that organizations like animal advocates do everything they can to save dogs without asking anything in return
